This, and our C64 and Amiga 500 are my youth. Their plan worked though, I'm a software engineer now 😁

I remember my school had a room full of these. The sound of the keyboards clattering away still sticks in my mind. 😊

Inline assembler was also a touch ❤

Yup - got a model B and 2 Cub monitors, the latter refresh rate and 2 x Cumana drives take me back more than any of my other micros.

They were sold by Acorn in the USA, not very successfully though. The dutch were also quite keen on it. They were also sold in Australia (mostly into schools).

Been after a micro for a while. Never experienced them when they were new but the National Museum of Computing had a display for a bit where you could go and play with them, was good fun.
