( www.TFLcar.com ) The Ferrari was the very last car that Enzo Ferrari built. The Iconic Ferrari F40 was the last car that the Italian brand's founder oversaw before he passed away in 1988. The supercar was built to celebrate Ferrari's 40th anniversary from 1987 to 1992 and was the successor to the Ferrari 288 GTO. The car cost $400,000 when it was new and featured carbon fiber construction along with a mid-engined rear-wheel drive designed. It is powered by a 2.9L twin turbo V8 that puts out just under 500 horsepower. It is extremely light and fast even by today's standards. F40 - Forever Number One. The legend among all legends. It doesn't matter what any manufacturer will come up with, this model will always be the number one dream car for me. It's just in a class of its own.

Cool guy for sure, not the least bit douchy. I know my Ferraris and history, particularly F40's, more so than most owners I've met, but this guy really knows his stuff. Love that he's so well studied, enthusiastic about it, drives the car and loves to share. If only they were all like him. He knows 100x more than those stuffy Brits in the other vid who have apparently sold over 100 of them. If there were ever a guy who deserved a car like this (other than me, of course) we've found him. Great video.

Ye, a guy like that is one in a million, among the Linguine pilots. Kinda like the F40, one out of hundreds; the only Ferrari that appeals to me. It's the ONLY Ferrari that has a MECHANICAL merit. Lightness, competent chassis, even with the traditional poor fit/finish & squeaks. No wonder, all the pretentious Ferrari "owners" don't give a hoot about this car.

First of all, may I congratulate on the mint condition of your wonderful F40! Ever since 1987 when I bought an issue of Fastlane magazine which included a cassette tape with a recording of the F40 on Donington Park, Mark Hales at the wheel, I fell in love with it. It probable has the most intoxicating sound of any Turbo-engined cars. Thanks for sharing your car!

For me, the F40 is one of those almost unachievable goals. It's like, I love Ferrari's and my goal is to own one, but I can't get THE ONE. The 458, 512TR, 355, 328-they are some of my favorite cars...but with my job they won't be unachievable. I would rather not go into extreme debt so I guess the F40 will remain in the spot of my true dream car.

Still one of my favorite cars ever. Girlfriend in high school's dad had one and I got to drive it a couple of times. I found it is very difficult car to drive. Her mom would take it to the grocery store to get groceries which was kind of crazy.

You are absolutely correct about this guy, he's a righteous owner. Who ever made the comments about those "Brits" in a the other F40 video hit it right on the nail on the head because I thought the same as here they are with experience selling 100 or so iterations parading around as "experts" and couldn't answer basic questions about the car. I mean not to know HP numbers and units produced is bad.

Aaaahhhhh! I live in Thornton and would absolutely LOVE to go the the next cars and coffee event here in good ol' Colorado! As a car/motorcycling/engineering enthusiast, I always feel like all the good stuff with cars never happens here and now I've maybe found something I'd love more than anything to be a part of- especially if there is a career or chance to see my dream car in the works.

I don't remember which Ferrari had a car with a clutchless manual transmission, meaning a manual transmission without the clutch pedal. But that was one innovation from Ferrari.

They are in Lafayette colorado about a half hour north of Denver, I agree with gamesta200. My dad was always restoring old Chevys and he new a guy that had a red 57 Chevy convertible with factory 4 speed and the rare fuel injected 283..he kept it encased in an environmentally controlled chamber and he never drove it once, seems a pity.

Wonderful car and super cool owner! If I ever have a car like this, there's no doubt that I'd be taking out to events like that and sharing it with others; there's no point to hording the experience of having something like this. When you're dealing with a car that's going to hold value for long after it's expended its lifetime under your ownership, I'd say it's better to be a steward of creation rather than a consumer.
