I think otherwise. We Indians love our moms and ofc me too. They sacrifice a lot for our happiness. Selfless service and courage to face all the hardships of life. I have imbibed a lot of values from her. But my mother is not educated, as she came from a conservative family where only boys were allowed to read and study. I can only imagine had she been educated, I would not have to seek guidance elsewhere. My father is a humble and polite man and believes in gender equality but he has his own views. He is educated and the only man in his family (rather village) to be having a formal government job (Grade A). He also had to strive very hard since village had no electricity (up until 2016) and coming from a lower caste. He is my role model. When one is employed in something, he or she has ton of experiences to share with their children. And this enriches us and we look up to them. Though woman as housekeeper is one of the toughest jobs in the world, but a working woman can offer more to her children. [Assumption: moms are not as educated as fathers, due to limited opportunities as a woman; but ofc this cannot be generalised] "If you educate a man, you educate an individual. But if you educate a woman, you educate a nation".

She comes from a different time, like our parents. They didn’t grow up with internet & all the technology available today, that kept them grounded & their awareness came from their surroundings & people they interacted with. While our generation has lost touch with the surroundings & people, what we really know is what we gather from the social media etc. I think it’s very important to stay in touch with our roots to know where we are headed.

It is ok. Twinkle comes from a different generation, plus she’s wearing a short dress, so she can’t sit without crossing her legs. Sudha ma’m spoke about women & preserving their identity, their independence etc. if you really listened & understood what she said, you wouldn’t have commented this. The two women in the frame are doing something with their lifes the way they know how. They are equal in every way. The only difference is experience.

You should adapt accordingly as in if you know you are interviewing a person of higher stature then don't enter the interview trying to look like a model, dress well and don't try to garner attention from the internet to gain views. Now coming to the point of "Preserving their Identity" I'm sure she is preserving her identity very well by imitating and copying a fake western accents. "Equal" I don't think so

She maybe sitting with her legs crossed, in a short dress, what matters is how you treat a person. Twinkle was respectful & at the same time intrigued by Sudha mam’s life. Both seem to respect that they come from different backgrounds. The beauty of this interview is that, there’s no judgement, they’re sharing each others experiences in an informal environment. Between two educated women especially, there’s a silent agreement & understanding, they’re pally and they get it.
