Just watched this movie, it's so much more than the trailer! It's about how men getting younger girls are 'Sugar Daddies' but women wth younger guys are labelled 'Cougars'. It is proven time and time again that some age gap relationships are toxic, particularly when the younger partner is 18 at the start of it. There's a whole reddit sub detailing toxic age gap relationships. Age gap isn't as bad if both partners are 30+. A young 20 something is usually in a completely different life stage than someone in their 30s plus the power imbalance.

So, I’m 41 and I’m currently falling for someone 15 years younger. I couldn’t stand him at first honestly, he seemed immature. But, as time goes on I see in him what I’ve always imagined my future would be. To me this wasn’t just a movie, it felt like my real life. Because people do judge you as an older woman being with a younger man. That’s the harsh reality, unfortunately.

Literally what was going through my mind while watching the trailer: two beautiful, talented, socially privileged people meeting and falling in love: Groundbreaking! Lol. That being said, I love Nicholas Galitzine. I'm so happy to see he is slowly making a name for himself. I might watch this for him if nothing else.
