At some point you had to have bought the glue, zip ties and PVC so you had already spent your penny. For those who do not have that stuff already lying around at our disposal, just buy a hose bard. It would be cheaper and require less time
@@dragon411320 duct tape will only work as long as the hose isn't under any pressure. The hose will expand and contract according to the pressure it is under which will cause the tape to do the same thing. Eventually it will lose its bond. But yes, that is how most would fix it
@@jameshendricks8526 yea was mostly just a joke reply, but would still be good enough for a week until one could get a proper repair kit, either a double-barb union or a quick-disconnect kit may even be nice as the rotation may help with another cursed event of hoses.... fighting the freaking snake and having that one coil that always twists the wrong way
Sure friend, but I'll tell you what would only be used in that repair is a piece of tube, the rest was to reinforce, but you can only use a piece of tube and a piece of wire to adjust.
@@dragon411320 oh you say mostly a joke reply but many believe duct tape will absolutely fix everything. Where I work, we've had to wrap duct tape around hoses on occasion to finish the day or until we can get it fixed right.

Your thumbnail tricked people into believing that the two ends would be somehow interlocked by cutting triangular notches out of each end. Nowhere in the video do we see any triangular notches in the ends of the hose pipe, as promised in the thumbnail.

Estoy de acuerdo con el uso de cinchos, el agua es jodida ya que su presión puede dar sorpresas; en cuando a acoples de fábrica que venden en Ferreterías compre hace poco una de ellas y la verdad es que son hechas de plástico y solo es un tubo parecido al tubo PVC y una caparazón del mismo material dividido en dos y que se unen con dos pares de tornillos para sujetar la manguera, el tubito y el caparazón y comentarles sobre el precio relativamente alto para el material de fabrica con el que esta construido, además que este artilugio es muy grande, mientras que el del vídeo queda mucho más delgado, realmente hare esto ya que la bendita manguera ya tiene una nueva perforación y hare exactamente lo que acabo de ver.
