I'm reading the comments- I know lots are computer generated, but some of them...really?! It's the same storyline, as you said. A major difference is budget- which I can't fault too much on the company; but it has big effects on these compared to main dramas.

Pretty much, YES! No real justice, especially if there is money involved. The wealthy get away with treating people like trash, and because of the culture, those lower in status and money can’t stand up for themselves. That’s why they are so shocked when they get slapped back. It’s all superficial, and sickening, but in reality it’s like that in a lot of countries. No real justice. Majority of that stuff would not stand in America, just because people won’t let it get that far. Sometimes watching these, I’m like, oooo if this was America and some person walked up to someone else and told them they couldn’t shop in that store, or slapped them at the work place, etc… there would be a knock down brawl! Somebody is about to get they behind tor up!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

You notice that a lot in these types of dramas. The parents/grandparents drugging their children and then 'listening'. Talk about perverted. The worst case is the 'mother' who helps the evil side chick love rival to get rid of the FL by drugging the ML son and providing an opportunity for the evil chick to rape him when he's drugged. Now that's true perversion.

Unfortunately chinese familys don't have alot of privacy and are often directed by their elders, with no say for them self. Its the culture thousind of years old.

You should know the power of the rich. They are always able to avoid and bend the law🤷‍♀️

These scripts don't follow normal life processes. It's too much detail that they don't feel the need to include in the writing or filming. It's not about the characters being super rich as you can write proper procedures and still let them get away with crimes, but it's about dumbing down the script so the plot works without having to spend a lot. Details need talent which cost money and these are low budget investments for people who want to have fun and/or need to "put" their money somewhere. That's also why they can get away with all the abusive and absurdity they write. Plus the crews that work them are low rung or very green with no substantial backing to enter the industry at a higher level. It's a host of things once you dig deep. I had to research this area of the market and it's very iiiiiiiiinteresting. 🤣🫣😉🤔😢
