Scopley has never been good at Theory crafting, theres no way that are aware this can beeak the top of Crucible. Thats partially why the stargating, theyve tried to do it by difficultly, but the community has continually proven smarter. Youre last video used a metaphor of Towers a Scourges geing a Rubik cube for us to solve. Scopley had never seen it that way. They hand us a maze, with one path they expect us to find, but often we find ways to fold the paper, or erase walls, thus finding another path.
I'm just curious in retrospect, how it would be if these crazy passives and abilities were added onto the reworked illum members. Like if Iron man stopped speed bar or something

Imagine putting diamonds on sup 6, then krakens complain, and then Illuminati get buffed. I think cb ‘s performance in the tourney (in conjunction to Mobile’s performance without cb) probably delayed Illuminati getting buffed now. I am not sure that will stay the same if cb owners still lose.
I may not have understood. Won't the Mephisto Krakens be able to counter Illuminati on defense, but the FTP players that come up against five star Illuminati on defense in room four or five be the ones who are screwed? I'm only in Platinum 1, but will have 5/5/3 or 5/5/4 star Illuminati I will throw in defense with Super Skrull and Emma in room four, isn't that gonna break Platinum 1 worse than the Kraken crucible?
Love the poetic justice. Is there any place for Mysterio or Lizard in place of Kraven or Slayer? Never built those two up, and dont really wabt to this late in the game

Cc was the best game mode in msf. And they are repeating the same mistake in a different way from what they did with nw vs tw/eternals. They over monetized it. That is to say they let money ppl make decisions for the game mode instead of the game ppl. Sup 6, cabal were money makers, but imo they made cc better. The goal of CB is not to make cc better. The goal is to rig cc so that higher level spenders who are not as good at the game don’t lose to lower spenders who are better at the game. Congrats. Higher spenders will win, but winning in cc for them is now meaningless. All it means is that they spent more money than someone else. What is the point of having a pvp mode where wins are hollow?
I tried to tell this to Dulom on MGs stream the other day, but its hard to argue with someone that just believes his truth. Most ppl that will spend for 5 star unlock wont have them big for foreseeable future and they will lose just bcs of that even when their kits are amazing for CC.
