Harlem collective A$AP Mob has been putting its stamp on the rap game since 2011. The group was founded in the mid aughts by A$AP Bari, A$AP Illz, and A$AP Yams, following in the footsteps of New York groups like Wu-Tang Clan and The Diplomats. The trio linked up with A$AP Rocky, A$AP Ferg, A$AP Twelvyy, A$AP Nast, A$AP Ant, and producer A$AP Ty Beats. Rocky’s early success landed him a multi-million dollar deal, and paved the way for the rest of the Mob.

Kinda sad they lost momentum after Yams passed - shows how much of a driving force he was. Really think Rocky and Ferg got some potentially great albums left to make. Rocky has become a star - dating Rihanna, high-fashion endorsements, headlining events - but I really think he has superstar potential and needs a couple really good quality albums to get him there.
