Regular grooming for your dog or cat is a must. This will avoid overgrown dewclaws and matts near sanitary area. Overgrown nails can impair their ability to walk, it could become painful for them, and can grow into their paw pads causing a severe infection.
Keeping your pet's sanitary area clean can cut down on discomfort. Matts start getting too tight on the skin causing the pet to feel this discomfort anytime they are moving or walking. Keeping their privates clean will also cut down on bacteria.
