the importance of writing down your ideas 

i started writing down my ideas this year and its helped so much when in a creative rut - i can go back to my list of ideas for creating stuff. ideas come when you least expect them

This is definitely true. Always writing down my ideas as they come at the most random of times. It helps immensely as we tend to forget these ideas sometimes.
