Castell Y Bere is in a remote place even today in a world of technology.I know the sea was closer to the Castle in the 13th century.I would imagine the terrain was very difficult in those far gone days.Forests marshland and wild animals.Wales held out for a very long period because travel and control was almost impossible to an invading army without any modern organisation.This Castle relied on this and it's position on the outcrop it stands on.I hoping to visit it again soon.🏰
