Sorry about some of the sound issues but one thing you may have missed do to them is that on the 79 the windshield wiper motor is either burned up or wired wrong.

79 cab must of been changed or it's not a 880 only made them from 76 to 77

Dodge stared to make the 880 series in 74 with the 75 models . They went up to 1979 .

you cannot put lock out hubs on the full time 4x4 it will cause catastrophic damage to the transfercase
