Booking for Delhi-Leh route-
1. Online booking is available from Delhi to Manali & Keylong. Tickets will be extended to Keylong in the bus itself or from Keylong bus stand one day before journey.
2. You can reach Keylong via Volvo bus as well and get your ticket to Leh from Keylong bus stand one day before journey.
Booking for Leh-Delhi route-
1. Tickets will be booked by conductor at Leh bus stand one day prior to departure. Online booking isn’t available because of unpredictable weather conditions on the route.
2. The bus reaches Keylong by 4:00 pm-5:00 pm. There is a connecting Volvo to Delhi and Ordinary to Chandigarh if you want to leave for Manali/Chandigarh same evening.
3. Leh-Delhi bus leaves from Keylong at 10:30 am next morning. This service is available to book online.

For queries regarding online booking of this bus- Online booking till Leh is not available. • This ordinary bus starts from Delhi at 3:45 pm and reaches Keylong at 11:00 am. (You can book it online by searching from Delhi to Manali or Keylong- look for the 3:45 pm bus). The bus then takes an overnight halt at Keylong. • You can also reach Keylong via Volvo bus as well. The Volvo leaves Delhi at 5:30 pm and reaches Keylong by 9-10 am. (It’s available for online booking). So you have two options to reach Keylong. You can reach Keylong by either of these options. Once you reach Keylong, purchase tickets from bus stand for next day journey to Leh. Hope it helps.

मैं 2001 में धूलिया महाराष्ट्र वेन से मनाली लेह जून में गया था उस समय रास्ता 10 दिन पहले खुला सिंगल रास्ता पहली बार उसे पहाड़ों में गाड़ी चलाई नीचे खाई अंधे मोड़ कब कोई गाड़ी अचानक आए वैसे गाड़ी बहुत कम चलती थी हर मोड़ पर हॉर्न बजाना या अलर्ट रहना मैं गाड़ी चलाने में ही ध्यान रहा पहाड़ों के नजारे का आनंद तो बस में लिया जा सकता है मनाली लेह रोड की यात्रा अलग दुनिया तिब्बत का कल्चर शांति प्रिय लोग

Thank you so much sir :) For outside shots we have to run whenever bus takes a halt. Sometimes we request fellow pickup or other bus/truck drivers for a lift to shoot bus from front.

@@jaswantpadam4417 Aree nahi sir. That was one single time we took our own vehicle to Jispa since it was a short route. Uske alawa to bhag bhag ke ya dusri gadiyo se request karke kaam chalate hain. All our videos are shot by a single person only- either me or Avinash.

आपने १९८६ की‌ याद दिला दी, लेह दिल्ली कारगिल होकर किया था जो सफर वास्तविक थी, लेह से श्री नगर तक द्रक से तथा बाकी सफ़र बस से तय किया था।अब दिल्ली से लेह मनाली होकर, मेरी यात्रा आपने पूरी की इसके लिए धन्यवाद। तब मनाली वाला रास्ता पूरा नहीं बना था। हां याद आया तब मैं कारू में (शे थिक्शे) हाइडल पावरहाउस निर्माण में कार्यरत था। धन्यवाद।

Definitely one of favourite You Tube channels and the most adventurous bunch. Love your commentary, excellent. I've done the entire journey from Delhi to Leh exactly the same route but could only do the Delhi-Manali by Himsuta bus as always. Thereafter, in 4X4 with over night halts in JIspa and Sarchu. Would love do it again. Hence, zero AMS and had a wonderful trip in Ladakh.

Beautiful video! The longest bus route in India currently are Volvo buses plying between Bengaluru and Jodhpur covering a distance of 1935 kms in ~45 hours.

Bhai sach kahun main HRTC ka fan bachpan se hun aur aapka Subscriber hun, waise to aapke har video mein Driver aur Conductor se connection banta hai lekin ye aisa waahid video hai jisme mera na sirf Driver, Conductor se balki passengers ke saath bhi connection banaa, aur aapse to banta hi banta hai. Bhai keep it up. Aapke har videos ko main bahut jyada enjoy karta hun kyunki bahut saalo se main apne gaon (Himachal mein) nahi gaya. Aap Jo bhi dikhaate ho, wo sab meri aankho ke aage aa jaata hai. Waise main Delhi mein hi palaa badaa. Lekin mere roots Distt. Solan Himachal ke hain 🙏🏼❤️🙏🏼

Ye video humein achi lagi, bohat hi informative hai. Jab main Sumo mein 2001 mein gaya tha to road k haal bilkul alag thhe. Aapne Jisko "Chuhe Maidan" kaha hai, woh usse More Plains kehte hain aur jis chuhe ki baat ki aapne, usse: Himalayan Marmot kehte hain. Main ne Suraj Tal k pass camping kiya tha: Manali- Jispa- Leh- Nubra-Kargil- Zanskar- via Suru Valley ka tour kiya tha. Yaad taaza ho gaya. Wah!

Hello! Aaj is Video ko dekhkar mujhe apni biti hui Sainik jeevan ki yaad a gayi. 1985 ki baat hai, jab main Chandigarh se Leh ki or Indian Airfoce ki Viman se udaan bhari, phir Leh se Kargil ki tarf SHAKTIMAN se safar kiya tha. Oh! bas, main aage barh nahin sakta.Pichhli yaadon ne mujhe rula diya.

@@kaga5093 not first time, this bus route is operated from very very years ago somewhat like 50to60 years but this service is suspended every year bcoz of snowfall...

You can ride a Volvo bus service maximum till jispa which is ahead of keylong. From there you have to take another medium.

@Daily Yoga At Home Thank you :) You can take a Volvo till Kelyong or max till Jispa (available for booking on www.hrtchp.com) and then you can take this Ordinary bus. HRTC and HPTDC may start their Deluxe buses on this route by July but can’t confirm yet.

@@akshittheexplorer Actually this bus service is running from 90’s. Starting year was around 1993 or 94 (no confirmation on exact year). The Manali-Leh road was opened to public in 1989. 😊

Watched the video, without skipping. I was on same journey, same keylong hostle in mid july 2022. Just refreshed the memory. Thanks for the video. Good sound quality with mix of original bus song and sound. And also good videography too.

Good work dude.. Almost all info were covered.. I have traveled Del to Keylong in 2012 by motor bike; but unfortunately because of some reason could not complete the tour that we had planned for Leh. While we were riding towards Keylong I noticed this HRTC bus at Rohtang which said Del-Leh,,,, DAMN I was zapped.. Hats off to the drivers. Nice tour flimed dude.. Appreciated!!

Also I like to mention HRTC was also part of my honeymoon journeys from Shimla to Rampur Sarahan then Jeori to Kalpa back in 2007. Being an Air Force Personal I like to say HRTC staff are not less than faujis. Regards
