I absolutely adore Capybara's! They're so cute. I used to have a dog (black Labrador/shepherd mix supposedly 🤷🏻‍♀️) BUT I now believe was half capybara 😂! She would swim underwater 10ft down and hold her breath FOREVER, I would have to jump in and force her to come up!! IT WAS INSANE! She would scare me to death BUT she was fine EVERYtime! I miss her dearly. Her name was Tesla! She lived from 😢 1989-2001... Today she'd have her very own successful RU-vid channel! She was definitely one of a kind! ♥️😁😢😅

I'm Brazilian and no, we don't call capybaras water pigs, on the contrary, the term comes from Tupi Guarani, a language spoken by indigenous peoples here in Brazil and South America in general. You speak as if you had named and still distort linguistic history.
