Hey Pavel, I'm wondering, do you have any thoughts on optimizations? Like the optimization "clustering"? To cluster particles that are inside of the planet, and not doing much?
Yeah i made a timelapse with the recording thing and iset the particle count to 2 million and i let it run for 12 hours. It was absolutely facinating to see the high quality collision. We would love to see more!
But this can’t be how our actual moon formed, since this moon is made entirely out of matter from theia, but i heard real moonrock was similar to earth rock?
This looks a lot like a theory of the moon’s creation, there was two blobs and one larger one flung the other one away and the second one became the moon, while the first one fell back to the earth
Anyone who says the computer isn't heating up the room needs to stop immediately and seek mathematics. It's called energy in, energy out, you are in fact heating the room. No discussion lmao. Even the power supply unit is heating the room, hence that number, like "70/80 Plus, Bronze/Gold/Titanium" - that's efficiency, so heat is created again.
Check NASA's Simulation it looks just like that, The bigger mass that formed was pushing the small one to the edge to have a stable orbit. It was explained in That NASA Video. Omg I'm Amazed
i think a cool simulation would be a small black hole (like really really small) eating earth from the inside out. you will have to alter some of the simulation update times and such or else you will be waiting a really really long time even with a full-blown supercomputer.
Please do play more, maybe try pre rendering for a time then play them back for us with commentary? would be very time intensive I suppose, I enjoyed the time lapse you tried recently
I was so suprised that you knew this game. I've had it for a pretty long time, tho my pc isn't good enough to get the experience (that roast wasn't completely wrong)
I wonder how many centuries we are from having a standard computer able to have realistic fluid dynamics run in real time for stuff like collisions even more realistic than this. And I wonder if the US devs will be around to add it.
Nice video! And here are some Things you should do/check out: Go to the visual settings and turn on future paths to see how things will move Give Jupiter multiple moons, like the earth, venus, mars, mercury, and the moon and see the chaos A protoplanetary disk around a star or Jupiter A very small dense object and a very large non dense object Hit the moon with a haumea sized bullet, moving really fast X Rings And Simulating the formation of the moon with Two Theias
