I absolutely love the MAD, because of its design philosophy of "what if we made a tower that's horrible against ceramics and clumped Bloons but absolutely ruins the living crap out of moabs?"
@@Mr.Brothybear Yeah but that's more single target oriented and ability dependent. It's not as fun or cool. Plus this thing's ability is awesome as well, but not not necessary for it to dominate.
Biggest One is also great. It went from having a pathetic 10 damage per shot to having the ability to stun MOABs and deal 100 damage per tick due to Burny Stuff. Definitely one of the most underrated glow-ups in the game.
It’d be cool to see one of these types of videos for perma spike, everyone talks about how op it was a couple of years ago but there aren’t videos about it
I feel like the MAD is a good example of how Ninja Kiwi is one of the few companies that tries hard to understand the changes they make. Every big nerf is explained in detail and the players are told about why and how it pertains to NKs greater vision for BTD 6. The MAD is still absolutely excellent for tier 2 and 3 elite and now has healthy competition for being used. We sometimes take for granted that NK tries to make every upgrade viable in some situation. Even though the changes were a bit big it still remains one of the best towers for Price per pop when used right.
big tip: when super buffing, put the tower on water and use brickells ability for 200% Attack Speed instead of ezili for 117% since that a tower placed on water counts as a water tower (use snowstorm)
No it doesn't, it only apply to Sun Temples/TSG and Pat (to allow carrier flagship buff). As long as there's ice platform below the tower, they can't receive brickells' buff
the MAD deals with all moab class bloons, and the ROD deals with the ceramic insides, and then theres the BEZ with automatic targetting together, the 3 towers are overpowered
The mad will never not be my most favourite tower, I love its design, its incredibly fun to use, and even after the nerfs its still absolutely insane for moab dps
I had and was playing before the Gattling was added to BTD6 but stopped for a while. Came back around SEP 2023, so sad I missed the days of the Super MAD. Maybe the paragon Gattling will put the Super MAD to shame though.
Clicked the video because I wanted to learn more about the tower before I started playing but I ended up learning a lot about the current MAD and the best way to optimize it in game. Great video as always, been watching for a while but just subbed a few weeks ago - you deserve way more support for all the effort you are putting into these challenges/tests.
The second used between homeland and CTA overrides the other. If you use CTA and then homeland, it gets the homeland buff. If you activate Homeland and then CTA, you get CTA
Video idea: Hero madness Rules: you can use every hero in the game (not necessarily all of them) on logs easy with as many 1-3-0 villages you want and one 5-0-0 sub. Objective: survive as long as possible
why do people in this comment section always love to pin isab and mackan together from my perspective, i am just looking forward to both of them breaking the coop wr
The mad is still my go to late game tower because once ita maxed out with the perma brew,10 overclock and 4 boost monkey towers it will clear the screen
4:18 actually you do need to be careful, if the buff of call to arms applies before homeland it cancels out the effect and gives it the weaker call to arms effect instead
I disagree a lot with your conclusion ,mad and other recently nerfed towers didn't need to get nerfed , the solution to a tower being good at it's job shouldn't be a nerf it should be an example of how to ballance the rest of the towers , but nk hates fun so they'd rather lag the sh!t out of their poorly optimez game and make it a micro nightmare destined for fewer and fewer people that have nothing better to do other than wasting their time getting gud
