If I had a nickel for every time a first-person hero shooter included a Dutch scientist themed around space as a playable character, I'd have two nickels, which isn't a lot but it's weird that it happened twice.

Not gonna lie. When Iana's trailer came and when she released the game she reminds me of certain white haired anime characters, then I recall 2b, Then they made her a 2B elite skin. Probably one of the best decision ever.

Rainbow Six Siege really just needs a proper story campaign, a TV series, or both. There's too much good lore stuff and too much that can be done with it all for it to just languish and only be showcased through the occasional comic and cinematic.

Interesting her lore may be, I wish she has a more military or police background (I know she tried to be in the Dutch Air Force). Maybe her Gemini attracted some military bigwigs and saw its potential as an intel gathering tool for the Commando Corps (KCT)? But since Iana is the only one who knows how to use it very well, she was attached to KCT as an advisor/asset, which was also a chance for her to undergo some proper combat training.
