An unexpected lucky find on our Sunday drive to Amish Country! A chance stop at a gas station, a sign placed near the road, and a curious RoseBGone.....resulted in a very special quilt show and meeting of exceptional women quilters from the area who have worked together to make this local quilt show possible. I spoke with Jane from Birdsong Quilting in Elroy, Wisconsin who is the owner of a longarm quilting service and acted on behalf of her fellow quilters to introduce me to this show and the women that make it possible. Mary, Group Leader of the Elroy American Legion Auxilliary Quilts of Valor program introduced me to the story of her teams participation in this quilt show asf well.
