Dion Leonard was in the middle of running a 7-day race across the Gobi Desert in China when he realized he was being followed by a little stray dog. The dog, which he named Gobi, ran 77 miles of the race with him and the two developed a strange but wonderful friendship. Dion knew he had to take Gobi back home to the U.K. with him.
He found a local willing to take care of Gobi while he figured out his plans back in the U.K, but everything changed when Gobi disappeared. Dion knew he couldn't just give up on Gobi, and he returned to China and started a search party for the pup.
Pickler & Ben is an hour-long, multi-segmented lifestyle talk show filmed in Nashville and hosted by country star Kellie Pickler - known for her quick-wit and bubbly personality - and journalist Ben Aaron, a funny, curious, and good-natured New Yorker.
