Lived in Chipata and there is a similar arrangement. Indians are peaceful people and they contributed to our economy . Love that they can speak local languages very fluently. Most of them are now third or fourth generation and have never been to India. Zambians are so tolerable people.
Now it's time for African leaders to work towards improving the lives of their indigenous people. Immigration must be dealt with. To permit the takes over of large areas by any external group in any country is neither healthy nor safe. Where are the indigenous people and why have they left. These are questions that any government should question without being branded as racist. Surely there must be middle class indigenous people who could fit into that lifestyle too. African leaders it's time to lead. Are Black people given the same in those foreign lands. African leaders ask yourselves why are your own people are always beneath everyone else in their homeland? Isn't it time to review your immigration policies and help your country and people to catch up with others. Wake up Africa and help us to live like the rest of the world.
It's often said by the foreigners that they work hard and pay their taxes. I fully appreciate you and do not blame you for the problem. I am wondering where those taxes are going and who benefits from them.? Something is obviously very wrong. All of the indigenous population cannot be lazy good for nothing who do not want a better life no matter how long or hard that they work. Be careful of these imbalances because this is how uprisings begin. Something must change. The world is becoming more informed. Be wise in your actions for self preservation sake.
the mansions highlighted in this clip constitute a small percentage of the house's of the overall indian population the majority are in middle income class and we do appreciate the warmth and friendly nature of all zambians
Hi.......Nice informative video....... Indian diaspora is everywhere around the world.......There are lot of India people in Zambia who are originally from my place called Gujarat....... your Video is little shaky but still it is ok, main thing is your effort to make this video......... Please make more videos like this about our indian community living there in Zambia......Try to introduce our gujarati persons in your videos and communicate with them.........Former Zambian President Kenneth Kaunsa is a very good friend of India who died few months back........Lots of love to you and Zambians from Gujarat, India..........!
Note, In Zambia Indians are called bamwenye. But note that Zambians fail to differentiate Indians to others Asian community, they are called Indians. But reality is that, though there is and Indian community moved to Zambia before independence there also some Pakistanis, Lebanese and others within the same area. When you hear about Karachi Street know that it has to with some who came Pakistan. That's why when first reports of covid 19 in 2020 it involved a group of people those who traveled to Pakistan.
Ihear you sir but and I'm aware of that fact , but I made another video clearly different from the Indian community but Pakistani,Lebanese and Saudi Arabian community.I wish you can watch it aswell to know what I meant. Here is the link. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-VCb3vKW_WzA.html
Madras area where the indians live was 'formed' when the british were ruling. As you may know, they used to assign places for where people can live, like thorn park was assigned for the 'mixed race', Kabulonga was for the whites similarly they assigned this area to the asians(mainly indians). The Lotus school in this area was the school indians were assigned to go. As time went, this area expanded as more indians immigrated here.
Great video my friend, very informative, may i suggest a video for people wanting to move to Zambia, what things they will need such as visa's, citizenships and houses to rent or buy, this will greatly help anyone wanting to move to the country to start a new life and open up a new business, much appreciation and blessings for what you are doing, zikomo bwanji

Super sir, you have informed good thing about zambia and indian life in Zambia....but they are no more Indian because you know but small thing is that they came from india and settled in Zambia.so this is reason because all the people say earth is small....live life, enjoy, everything is a planet called earth....I am also thinking to visit Zambia... let's see...if I come to Zambia, hope i will meet you....☺️🙂👌
Exactly sir.You are welcome.Im coming from another City called Chipata I did some videos there aswell. It is about 600 kilometres East of Lusaka their are also alot of Indians by Origin but they are just Zambians now.
Madras would imply that most of the residents trace their origins to Southern India. Nice to see you embracing them, some other African nations or people are less accepting. As long as they are loyal to Zambia first and foremost, that's all that matters.
@@Traveltainment I met Indians who lived in Zambia (Chingola) at boarding school in the UK. This was my first exposure to Zambia. Later a Zambian called Namutabo joined the school. I haven't visited your land, but I read up about it and discovered that it is really blessed with abundant wealth.
@@Traveltainment zikomo kwalbiri. Me, I chokela ku...Chipata. I can still put a Zambian accent even though I left in 1982, maybe before you were born...nice place
@@Traveltainment 'do you 'limemba whati Dokota Kaunda said, Zambia sharroo be flee' 'tiyende pamodzi', 'imve a kaunda aa, mudenda (Elijah) aaa, mayo...' I want to eat inswah in the summer lain, nshima and lerish, withi kapenta andi chikoloki, and buy a cigarette flomu a mashanga boy.
Wait until there population reach 1 million and the Chinese on the other hand Somalians and Ethiopians are also coming in numbers. You will regret this
Why are involving Somali people and Ethiopian? Also were all African so its not a problem to us to live peacefuly amongst our selves. Please take your propaganda else where clearly you know nothing about the continent.
