@@oliverllewellyn3820 you bollocks. This is good but no where near elvis. What is up with this fucking world seriously. No wonder we are on the brink of nuking the whole planet. Its brains like this.
His the only one I remember was there someone else they were out on there own. Still remember the nights we went dancing to them. Knew they were good but it’s only as I got older I realise just how good
Love this band. The singers voice is so unreal fabulous ..Can't understand why we never got to see more of them.Just unbelievable .Bring them back,so wasted.
@ jay Brady as he is your uncle I would expect you to make that comment in my opinion there never has been or ever will be anyone who betters Elvis on any song everything Elvis sang was outstanding even in his movies but having said that Noel Brady comes very close he has an amazing voice and stage presence seen them many times at the dancehalls and carnivals back in the seventies as a teenager love them then still love them now regards to Noel and the band from an Irish fan 💕
@@paaat001Noel was a huge Elvis fan and sang many of his songs.Sadly all retired now seen them many times in the past,They are much missed on the music circuit as they travelled all over Ireland and the uk for fifty years.
@@josephinecondie927 They did the song very well. I did notice that they got the background flags backwards in American Trilogy. Stars and Stripes for Dixie and the Stars and Bars for Battle Hymn of the Republic.
I saw The Indians a few times in the 1990s and didn't remember them being this good. Having just seen this video I must agree with everyone's comments about Noel Brady's voice. Absolutely outstanding a great rendition of this classic Mickey Newbury song. I heard and owned the original before I heard Elvis and I think this is the best version I have heard.
A great performance indeed Noel and congratulations to you, Eamon, from your old colleague Joe Geoghegan ( now enjoying the sunny South Sea Islands) in making it to the top and making it last , a truly outstanding achievement.
I Had The Pleasure Of Seeing The Indians Twice In Berkshire (Newbury /Nettlebed) With My Parents Amy & Stan Narroway Pre' 1996 Before I Moved To Cornwall & They Were Absolutely Fantastic! 😃 The 2nd Time I Saw Them Noel's Son Sang Lead As His Dad Was Recovering From Throat Surgery 🤒 Happy Memories Of My Parents Sadly Now In Heaven (Dad Passed Away In 2011 & Mum Passed Away In 2013) 🙏🙏💙💗
Vic Willis Trio from the Grand Ole Opry did my very favorite version of American Trilogy, but this - this version in now my 2nd favorite! Thanks for sharing it with us.
Now thats somethin ye dont see every day. I always thought there were only two in the world that could sing that song Elvis and Tom Jones. Thumbs up for youtube for making such outstanding stuff available.
This year was meant to be there 50th year anniversary on the road to be held in Dublin moved because of the co-vid 19 get liking sharing such a showband
Such a stunning beautiful voice. Best cover of this song I’ve ever heard. Can anyone tell me if Noel Brady songs are on Apple Music? Searched for Indians, but different singer.
The Indians were a great band, I remember we got into a club free one night because we walked in after the Indians, and the ones at the door thought we were part of the Indians huge entourage. I think it was the Deer Park in Antrim.
@brother ecstasy I care deeply. I lived through it. The majority of people here want peace to continue. I was brought up that if a person is decent nothing else matters.
Brilliant just brilliant 👌 and am glad I got to know this man, Noel is a top man one off the best singers I ever met and had the privilege of being a roadie for keep it up mate and merry Christmas
I would love for Elvis to record one of my songs, the royalties would be astronomical, like when Whitney Houston stole Dolly Partons song I’ll always love you? Oh wait did I say stole it. Hahahahaha
Noel Brady from Dublin as was sitting bull and dull knife keyboard and bass Kevin on drums Tommy lead guitar I must say as their roadie for a while them and their followers was a pleasure to meet they don't get enough credit for the length of their time on the road 50years this year coming keep up the good work lads
I can say it was a pleasure being their roadie all over Ireland England Scotland and Wales 50years on the road next year and still going strong fair play to the lads
