This honestly reminded me of when I was a kid in '86. I had no videogames or arcades nearby (grew up on a farm in Lithuania). This was all I had, and the adventures were amazing. I remember one time, I imagined we were going into a black hole but it turns out it hurt a lot more than I thought it would. Let me tell you about some of my other adventures. 1. This one time, I had just picked up the astronaut set. I had a dream the previous night that I went to fix a satellite in space, and the next day I roleplayed this. I didn't have a moon set or way to build a moon at the time, so I found a large bowl and filled it with... glue. Unfortunately, they did not last very long and became permanently stuck inside the bowl. The entire set and bowl was quickly thrown away. My father and grandfather flogged me for two days straight for this, as we had very little houseware. 2. Dungeons and Dragons started to get popular in my area. As I didn't have the money to buy anything DnD related, my family allowed me to make clay toys and statues from the mud. (We had very vicious downpours that swept away many of our beloved family members. Keep sliding, Grandma.

Movie plot: Lets say that the Earth was an "Observation Only" planet, and for the longest of time they saw how we were pretty much stuck on Victorian-era steam and coal based technology and suspected that we were going to be stuck there for "a few more centuries", but the last time they checked on us was towards the end of the 18th century, and they check on us again in the 21st century and realized we massively upgraded all of our tech to the point where we figured out small batteries, better gunpowder, solar power, and are dipping our toes into nuclear energy but that the primary use we've found for it was not for power but for weapons of war. Suspecting that some rogue space faction came and gave us unauthorized advanced technology, they send a small fleet consisting of 10 starships carrying scientists and a few armed military guardsmen since they saw how much we upgraded our weapons tech between WW1 and the Ukraine war. The ships were set to be completely radio silent to avoid being detected by our own satellites and weren't expected to return until the Earth year 2100, but by the year 2050, they receive a distress signal that their cover was blown so they deploy an emergency evacuation team to go get them, but they get there and they found that not only did the humans captured and killed all of them, but reverse engineered their tech, medicine, power cells, and weapons, and now they upgraded their ships, guns, and made every human on par with like Captain America. A few more years pass, and the movie ends with the scene of a destroyed city. A soldier pulls himself out of the rubble and drags himself to rest behind a fallen building, barely conscious. He looks up and just weakly holds his pistol up to the sky. The camera pans behind him, and we see an earth astronaut looking down at him, pointing a giant energy rifle at him, and the only thing we see of him is the white of his eyes peering through the black of his dome helmet.
