My older brother actually went to Port Richmond High School with CJ, the dude was never a blood in school and Whoopty isn’t even a Staten Island gang, it’s Brooklyn. It means CJ fake “joined” a gang as a grown man 😭😭.
@@3l1jahx istg I wish I was, when my brother told me I thought he was lying but my brothers closet is full of port Richland shirts because he was on the basketball team, Nigga told me CJ was quiet and the furthest thing from a blood😭👎🏾.
I always thought it was weird that it was literally 1 of the best selling songs of 2020 worldwide but u never saw him get nominated for anything or perform on any awards or TV shows to promote himself. Its kinda like they didn't push him at all when they had the chance. He didn't even make the XXL freshman list. Also on the 69 thing, he deleted the song after 69 snitched and then released a diss track towards him immediately after to get some clout😂.
Him and Snitch 9 both claimed a life they weren’t really living just to get money than run to Latin music smh true definition of a culture vulture 🤦🏾♂️ and I’m half Puerto Rican but i GOTTA keep it tall
I have a feeling he just wanted that one song to go big in order for him and his family to be financially set. Being famous isn’t for everyone. Regardless, smart on him for using his connections to benefit himself
so crazy bro dropped sumn and dipped they call designer a one hit wonder but he had a few hits and you still hear/see him every once in awhile I aint seen nothing on cg
To copyright they stuff soooo disrespectful..😢 Culture Vulture to the fullest. The poor people who created the word and d!e behind it ,get nothing. But this puerto rican kid can make millions off it and own it.. Wow
Lyrically song was trash af, but that beat though. That beat does everything for the record along with the catchy ass hook with the phrase “whoopty”. He disappeared because it just wasn’t authentic. Everything about him was counterfeit lol
I really don't think people know what a industry plant is. A industry plant gonna have more then 1 song I promise. The label will 100% make sure of that. CJ is just a rapper that caught a bop and never caught another. It's that simple. Far from a industry plant. If you want a example of a Industry plant look at Saweetie 2 3 yrs ago
@@A1un9ineyeat is no industry plant , he was on ELEVATED back in 17,18,19 & even before then he’s was on SoundCloud releasing typical SC stuff . Only really blowing up bc of tik tok tho
ice spice is not an industry plant.. ya'll weird. She's just trending and she's talked about a lot (especially be haters) which is always the dumbest thing to do...Talking online about someone you hate literally only makes them more relavent to many websites search algorithms...Both good and bad comments are viewed as equally in relavency.@@A1un9ine
Whoopty was ONLY A hit cause that beat was used by Memo 600 then Memo & Von then FBG Duck & Rooga finished it he got the worst version on that beat & they pulled down all the other versions
Record executive is a piece of crap there’s so much people out here with talent that don’t even get a shot but you put on a family member friend that has absolutely no talent and waste anybody’s time even the listeners men like him should not have power to sign music artist is like cheating, good prospects to go to the NFL or NBA and they can’t even play but you left a LeBron or Kobe Bryant on the streets just sad speaking in that term in other words, CJ should’ve never made it to the music major league in big stage he’s not even a writer. He’s just a plant that got lucky that could not deliver.
What the fuck is wrong with y’all man like nigga you think that’s doesn’t make you gay calling a grown ass man cute. Like bro you could have kept that to yourself why would you want to release that? What the fuck is wrong with being a standup straight man y’all kids doing this shit for likes and shit. Be yourself yo and yes you are gay if you think men are cute and yes you’re gay for saying that. If that’s you do you, but keep that shit to yourself G
Why would he deserve credit for the smash hit Whoopty? It's up to connections like his uncle or extreme luck that made it a hit. Not anything CJ directly did himself, to give him credit for it makes no sense.
@@Eleven_11I do agree that it's not a trash song, but are you really under the assumption that out of thousands of hit songs, not even one of them can be trash? I think you vastly underestimate the power of marketing and influence. I also think you missed my initial point. There are many songs that could match the criteria of songs that have gone viral or even be superior in numerous ways. You could have something really amazing and still not reach more than a few hundred or a few thousand people unless you're already established as a public person or have amazing marketing or extreme luck. So what I mean is that you are basically giving him credit for what external forces did. It's not too different from giving someone credit for winning a lottery.
@@gambleman957 I get what you're saying for sure... All I mean is that he deserves some credit for making a good song. Didn't say he deserves all the credit in the world because as we saw it was definitely a lot of his uncle's help
