Is there reason why people build this ''spell based- late game useless'' Ember? I mean it was 1h game that guy had veil, octarine and blink and BoT. Where is the physical dmg, how can they defend base with his sleight of fists doing nothing...Is this some kind of new pub trend?
Ember was quite shit latest patch and he didnt get better in 7.00...tho, now that he has great talent tree for magic burst, people play him with veil etc, you can kill almost anyone not super tanky with the combo (veil, q, e, triple spirit)
cobrexu I guess u can, but game must end early, and u must destroy mid and snowball. But mid was Ilidan here, and game went so late and all his magic is nothing against SF's BKB, Naix and Weaver. Bad luck or bad build whatever, he could myb sell some of his items and go for dmg, he had mjolnir thats okayish but not enough.
It's not a pub trend really. It's something that started in ranked matches by pros (I'm referring to Sumail from EG). Yes it's very good for snowballing early-mid game with his ulti but not great for late game where magic damage sort of becomes irrelevant.
every spellbased hero is bad vs bkbs and stuff, just ember still gives you the option to transition through immense goldgain from a lot of kills. the magic amp from his talent tree and the buff to his ult dealing 300 damage per spirit on level 3 is insane. and that ember was just shit xD
It's actually the new meta now thanks to the 1) ult buffs, 2) 15% spell amp at level 10 for Ember, 3) Battle Fury nerfs. Also at level 25 he can extend the duration of Searing Chains by 2 seconds which, when paired with Octarine Core, makes it just about 100% uptime on a target.
