Tru Confessions wasn't on Disney+ but they later added it. I'm assuming they rotate movies or they are still adding movies. I think when their stock took a dip, they started removing some content from Disney+
The Disney Vault isn't really true and is just a clever FOMO marketing trick. I managed to pick up Jungle Book, New Groove, Cinderella and Lady and the Tramp DVDs about a decade after they came out. Always check your local stores and bargain bins. 👍
Yeah i realized that after i posted it, i was more coming from the perspective of specific movies being rereleased everytime. Like mainly the 3 collections in the 2000s were all the same movies in a different box.
I liked the idea of the vault as it forced Disney to revisit and remaster their films and it did make them highly coveted items. They felt rare! Because they were rare. I didn’t love it but I did love them revisiting them.
Song of the South should be available in the public domain because it's an important part of history that shouldn't be forgotten lest we be doomed to repeat it. It's also the first Disney role for Bobby Driscoll, who would later go on to be Peter Pan... Which may be another reason Disney would prefer it forgotten, Driscoll is a very bad example of Hollywood's treatment of child actors in the golden age
