@@uwillnevahno6837 it’s called a “grit”. It’s symbolic of the pledge process. As “pyramids” on line they were required to grit! It’s a show of intensity and passion for your organization. It’s universal with all D9 organizations. You actually have to PLEDGE to experience a grit!
I don’t know what these people talking about pledging to satan and all that bs, God has always been in me and I pray for forgiveness for the known and unknown, but I LOVE THIS ish. I was in it for the camaraderie and friendships. Regretted some things, benefitted and grew from a lot. I have never pledged my heart or soul to anything or anyone with an intent on evil. The Black American dedication to “whitewashed” Christianity in America was meant to be divisive amongst our people. Anyway,do that ish!
You sound dumb even in African spirituality it is forbidden to pledge to any organization. And why would you pledge and they make you do regretful things? Why would you have to change the "true you" to conform to fit in with them. And keep it real. It was prideful, something you did to fit in and be part of the pact . You wear those colors proudly but you dont die with them colors. They make you do ritualistic things and chants dating back centuries. You would love it because you love the worldly things.
