What a great day.... the little drop of rain didn't dampen spirits. Being out with you all made it worthwhile and thoroughly enjoyable. Thx for sharing once again Bex, it's so nice to watch the ride again. Hope to see y'all again sometime soon.

Was an awesome day and so good to finally meet you! I noticed there haven't been that many vids of it uploaded so far, but really enjoyed watching the ones that have been. Hopefully some others will put theres up soon too :)

Wow that is some beautiful countryside, it almost looks a little Scottish in some places. Shame the weather got a little cold and damp in places, but the rain really brings out the country colours, so it's all good. It looks like a good time was had by all, and I for one feel more _infamously calm_ just from watching the video. Thanks for sharing the ride with us all Bex, great video (of what looked to be a great ride) 👍

The rain did really dramatize the scenery for sure, was stunning either way :D I think everyone will agree it was a brilliant day and ride, I for one thoroughly enjoyed it and was better that the first meet point wasn't 'as' far this year, being in Matlock instead of Glossop. At least the ride home was dry and warm. Following you from the petrol station, the sun was reflecting off your number plate, it was very bright. Great vlog Bex, RSM8

It's a very scenic place for sure, was thinking actually it would be quite nice to find a place to stop wehre we could get some photo opportunities of us/the bikes. I may suggest that for next year if they do it again.

Even with the chilly rainy areas I think we were still very lucky weatherwise, could have been a lot worse. I'm just glad I didn;t get soaked on the way like last year XD haha

Thanks Rob and a shame you couldn't make it to this one but as I said to the others, it is a fair ol' way for me and then you'd have an extra hour on top of that. Would probably been best for you to go up the day before to stay over. Yes see you at Sunny Hunny :) Rsmf

I keep expecting to see those bars on Cat's bike touch down or clip a parked car! Rain - it always seems to rain. Hopefully I won't bring any to Skeggy's ride. Those tight downhill turns are fun, eh? ;-) The bit around the 9:00 mark. Stunning, maybe more so because of those dark clouds. Not as many ducks this year. I think it was too wet for ducks at the end.

You can tell that, like me, you are from the flatlands of the east. My battery didn't even make it to Winnats Pass (or Winnie's Crack as Bizz calls it). Seems to be a big advantage for the Drift.

Oh and of all the bikes on the ride out yours was the one that stood out, it was the only one I recognised when I was marking a junction!

Oooh yes, not a really hill around the fens for a good distance. I'm not originally from around here, actually born and grew up in Northamptionshire where there are nice rolling hills, but nothing really compared the the beautiful scenery of the peaks. My battery ran out just as we reached the matlock meet point but luckily I brought my (old) spare which managed to last the length of the ride and part of the way home. My drift batts last around 2-3 hours. Aww thanks :D I guess it helps she's bright yellow hehe ^_^

Bex88 I've only been in Norfolk for 28 years, but luckily not in one of the completely flat bits, because I absolutely love hills and mountains.

Was a shame you couldn't make this Freddie. I did ask others about where you were, I think someone told me you wasn't too keen on riding those roads due to your vertigo but not sure?

Bex88 Who said that? Been on a hell of a lot of higher roads than that with no issue. Ha ha I was treating my girlfriend to a weekend in york.

I love winatts pass, always expecting to see a bunch of Hobbits come running down the valley, I won't take responsibility for the rain, everyone knows that's Calm bikers fault.

Yeah it's so cool and the drift just does not do it justice for what it's like really riding through it, or up and down some of those hills. Lol hmmm, yeah alright then :)
