Do you know if they are going to offer a leg roller attachment option instead of the pad? It would actually encourage people to buy two of them that way if they wanted to do lat pull downs they could use one for the seat and another as the knee holder.

They have a rack mounted ghd you can buy to go with it. That you could use to secure your legs
