Here's the background for the answers you didn't know about: - Netherite axes can only oneshot a player with Sharpness; they do 15 damage with a critical hit if unenchanted. - Emeralds were originally Rubies before they were added. They were changed to Emeralds because Dinnerbone is colorblind, and he pointed out that people who are colorblind couldn't tell the difference between Redstone Ore and Ruby Ore at a glance. - There IS a purpose for Beacon beams passing through Bedrock - it allows you to have Beacons in the Nether if you destroy all of the netherrack above it. - The question about where cats can sit was about how they sometimes sit on certain blocks without you telling them to (which prevents chests from being opened when they sit on them). - Redstone dust doesn't have 16 block states; it has ones for its connections on each side as well as its power. - /blockdata used to be a command, but in 1.13 /blockdata and /entitydata were merged into a single command, /data. - /structure is a command in Bedrock Edition, but only Structure Blocks are used in Java Edition. also I'm pretty sure "torns" was supposed to be "thorns"

Redstone dust actually has way more than 16 block states, it's power levels times the directions it can be connected in, and also includes whether it's going up a level on each side, so it's 1296 total states. "blockdata" isn't a command anymore since 1.13, it's "/data [get/merge/etc] block"

Shields aren't actually active for about half a second after you click them, which is why you got hit by those skeletons.

7:10 no, there's a whole set of barrier blocks you could have been placing blocks off of, you can see the outline of them as you mouse over them, as you did multiple times prior

btw, the shield doesn't actually calculate whether the arrow was fired before you block with the shield. it just has a 0.5 second timer before it actually blocks damage

Even if the shield appears up, it takes a little bit to actually be up for blocking.

Just a note, puzzle 19 was made far harder than it was intended. If the push blocks constantly pushed the blocks then that would have been the required solution, but as it is, they only push the block that lands on them the moment it is pushed on and not after, so you could have put 1 block to the left, pushed another block onto the push block, then pushed the block on the left up another space and just work your way up that way and not have to deal with grabbing the blocks on the ice parts on either side.

Watching him struggle on the puzzles was so painful!

I wish there was more modded parkour. There's a lot of really cool movement stuff in a lot of mods, like Tinker's Construct and botania (The mana blaster has kick that can boost jumps, and there are double/triple jump things)

When i play minecraft servers, i strictly play speed builders on mineplex. Him playing the building minigame hurts me to an immeasurable degree.
