This woman speaks up for the rights of women and it is a shame that she gets so much hate. My husband has said of social media, "It gives voice to those who should not be given a voice."
I loved The Ink Black Heart, the social media theme, the twists and turns, and mostly I love the Strike and Robin relationship. Love the whole series so much.
What a great book! I am halfway through and struggling to put it down to go to work....😄 Thank you J.K. Rowling for all the magical hours of reading you gifted us with!
Love and regards to J.K. Rowling from India. Just finished reading the book. Fantastic read. It brought a smile to my face. Very invested in Cormoran-Robin "will they won't they" relationship.
I'm 'unaccomplished' when it comes to figuring out the solutions to the crimes depicted in these novels. I have re-read the books several times each to try to get better at figuring these things out, but it hasn't really helped much. I am, however, obsessed with Strike and Robin's relationship. Waiting on pins and needles for 'The Hallmarked Man'.
I'm a fan of both the books and the TV series. When I was reading 'Troubled Blood', I remember thinking that this was going to be hard to translate to the small screen and after watching the latest series I do think it struggled to convey anywhere near the depth of the books compared to previous Strikes. However with this book I believe the opposite may well be true. I found it a rather hard read, even once you get used to it reading the online chat is cumbersome. I was actually wishing someone could have made an online app to scroll the chat in a more natural form to make it easier to construct in the mind. But I do think it will translate a lot better in the series. The online chat scenes will be far easier to understand and could be done in full as they 'should' be rather cheap to recreate. It will be like an extra character that does not require an acting salary!
