The Insane Circus At The RB Position For Mexico 

Sad but the last time we had a solid RB was Paul Aguilar. And I’m a chivas fan but his consistency was literally what made him an undisputed starter.

It's fair to say Jorge Sanchez is the worst Mexican player to ever play abroad or at least the biggest disappointment. It was previously Omar Bravo, but at least Omar left as one of the best strikers in Liga MX history. Jorge Sanchez was an ok player who was handed a golden opportunity to play I. Europe, and neither in Ajax nor Porto was he able to take advantage of it, and Man did the foreign press absolutely hate him as a player. Some people have called him one of the worst Ajax transfers in their history and in Porto he spent more time trying to negotiate his exit back to Mexico, then realizing he has a second chance to turn his career around. Absolutely the biggest failure of a Mexican player going across the pond.

Honestly 1st-3rd on our current RB depth chart are all pretty much the same level atm. But based on where they play, Araujo will probably be the one who separates himself from the rest and becomes the lock starter by 2026. But he needs to start putting together a few good games in a row for the national team.

Julian Araujo has been the most consistent RB in the seleccion. He recently played 25 minutes vs. Chelsea and looked very good. I think Julian is the starting RB for El Tri until further notice. Isreal Reyes is the most versatile defender El Tri. Since Cesar Montes and Johan Vasquez have locked down the staring CB roles, Reyes has made strides at RB for both club and country. Reyes is the #2 CB and RB on the depth chart for sure. Rodrigo Huescas has a lot of potential especially on the ball, his passing, crossing, and defensive acumen are impressive so he's #3 to me on the depth chart.
