The INSANE grocery prices in the most expensive state in the U.S 

Welcome to living in Hawaii! Most expensive state to live in. I went to Longs aka. CVS the other day and a gallon of milk was $11.

Definitely more expensive where I live. $12 for a cheap jar of pasta sauce. USVI

In Copenhagen, Denmark, a city ive heard is very expensive, a gallon of milk costs 5.5$. a pound of beef around 5$. Strawberries in a box that size around 4$. The median wages are higher than in the US. Had no idea inflation have hit the US so hard. Sure prices in Demark have increased some since covid but so have the wages. Even with 2 kids and below average income, we are able to save almost half our monthly income. I understand the frustration of many Americans in the lower income bracket.

At a gas station, things might almost cost as much. At wegmans, its like $4 less for everything.

Where I love the majority of the 4 pint milk gallons are around 1.50 and no more

Here is what I found at Fred Meyer (Kroger) in Oregon: Gallon of milk - $3.49 1lb strawberries- $2.99 Thomas bagels - $3.79 1lb challenge butter $5.99 Raisin Bran/Cheerios - $4.99 80% ground beef - $4.99

Here in NW Oregon a lot of our prices, at our store are similar. Butter any brand is $7.19, Ground beef is $6.50. Carton of Strawberries are $7.00.

Pretty much the same here in Ontario to be honest. Probably more as you do the conversion from Canadian dollars to American dollars..

I am extremely shocked ! I live in Germany and prices rose like 100-250 percent but like butter coasts 3€ and our currencies are not so different in value. I guess it’s because the EU subsidizes agriculture and food. I wish you well my dear Americans.

It's that in Oregon and Gas $6.00 but it's going up they said and food going up 30 percent so we're now getting our bills raised up and we pay for rain runoff on our homes and live in the woods so yes it's getting bad.
