It’s insane that the Bloodline storyline is only a chapter of the Shield’s story

The Shield were a perfect game of Rock Paper Scissors. Seth always had Roman’s number, Roman always beat Dean in major matches, and Dean always made Rollins’ life hell.

A grudge match between them at WrestleMania needs to happen

I loved how the story kept going between Seth and Roman in small ways and to see it all come together at this Wrestlemania was just perfection!

Dream retirement matchs: 1. Roman vs Rollins (Roman finally beats Rollins clean. Roman then picks the chair and acts like he will hit Rollins' skull but hits the floor instead till the chair breaks. Roman has a burst of emotions Rollins walks to Roman and hugs him to let it all out. Roman is finally at peace. Rollins is changed. They both have a sweet exchange on mic and wish "he [Jon Moxley] was here.") 2. John Cena vs Randy Orton (John AA Randy on the table and Randy turns it into an RKO. Both are count out. Nothing to prove, Nothing to lose. Just to legends hug each other. John and Orton take off their shoes and keep them in the middle. They both hit their signature pose and leave while their crowd is just crying like they want to be kids and live their legacy all over again)

I'm sure it was cut for time and flow but it's worth noting that Sami Zayn ALSO turned on Roman with a chair shot to the back, creating the first real cracks in the Bloodline and reopening those Seth scars even further.

The fact that despite having beaten Seth Rollins clean in a singles match on Raw, choking him out along with hitting multiple chair shots at Royal Rumble 2022, Roman still couldn't leave his trauma behind and took the first chance of hitting him again when it presented itself at WrestleMania 40. Even though he may have buried his past demons with Rollins now by finally letting go of his legendary title run, one dream retirement match with the return of good ol' Dean is still a story they can and have to tell when the time comes.

I think it makes their characters even more interesting, like you can’t hate Roman all the way as a heel because Seth is a massive reason why he became what he became and you can’t fully be on board with Seth as a face because you know what he’s done, like they can be labeled as a heel or a face but there’s so much history there that they both manage to occupy a middle line

A Hell in a Cell match would be the perfect match to end the rivalry!!

Seth is literally Roman’s greatest rival.

Their chapter can't finish without dean Ambrose

I have a gut feeling that The final chapter of the shield will begin from where it all started. When dean makes the reappearance in wwe again. Firstly they will be all against each other. And then it will end with they all against the whole WWE universe together.

This is beyond good long term storytelling

Seth Rollins is the goat he's such an amazing wrestler honestly he's quite underappreciated

I'm going to be super biased but Seth is the greatest wrestler currently. He is great without a belt and a long championship run. Every match you watch of him no matter who the opponent is, he is amazing and he also elevates whoever he works with. I love Seth! He made Cody's story so much better and helped him keep the fans interested after his loss at Wrestlemania 39. A lot of respect for him for wrestling injured at Wrestlemania 40... that man could barely walk off the stage but he gave his all to WWE fans. I like Roman too but for some reason I don't connect with him as much.. idk why. I also don't want to see another Seth vs. Roman feud. I think we are past The Shield members fighting and that story. I really want to see Seth go against CM Punk and Roman vs. The Rock.

The psychology of these two is immaculate. I love every moment they share together. HOWEVER, I am not in favor of Rollins vs Reigns at this years Wrestlemania UNLESS, it goes 2nd to last so that Punk can get his main event that he’s always wanted. If it has to be in the main event then wait until 42 for Reigns vs Rollins

Real talk though, Seth would be a fantastic Joker. Even the Hollywood promo from WM39 of him and Becky acting out Batman and the Joker was so entertaining.

There was Stone Cold v Rock, Then there was Cena v Orton, now we have the privilege of Reigns v Rollins. Hopefully for a hige main event at mania

The story most likely ends with Roman finally being able to forgive Seth and free himself of his hatred. Not all stories have happy endings but I feel this one will.

It’s just kinda sad without Jon Moxley throughout the 3 years worth of storyline. It would’ve been amazing to see Jon Vs Seth Vs Roman for the WWE title at the main event of Wrestlemania.

For as big as Roman Reigns is maybe there should be one person to always come on top and that's Seth Rollins. Even in Undertaker and Kane's storyline, Undertaker seemed like the favourable guy but in the end Kane had the last laugh, even someone as big as Undertaker has one person he can't beat and that's his brother

People will ask in a few years what was the Rock/Austin or John Cena/Randy Orton of the Renaissance Era. It will be Rollins/Reigns. A Mania main-event that needs to happen soon.

The fact that all three men are the 1a 1b’s of their promotions is just amazing. They really were the futures of the industry. And the best part is that the company and fans saw it coming.

These two need to have a mania match before it's all said and done. Sidenote- Wish Moxley stuck around, I don't blame him for leaving at the time, but would have loved him under HHH.

I love the storytelling here. It'd be great if WWE came back to this and had Seth get a few more over on Roman. It could be a fun part of this alleged plan to make Roman a babyface. Then we'd be cheering for him to win a "final" showdown. Good stuff.

Masterful story telling

I like the video. The thing I really didn't like was how WWe decided to go through with Dean turning heel when Roman vacated the title due to illness. That came off in bad taste, since the issue was about Roman's health, and it comes off like kicking someone when their at their lowest point.

I find my entertainment watching because I like seeing this pretty simple characters (most of whom could be described as a tad unhinged) and seeing them interact with eachother, with a clear pecking order established. The in ring competition make for a great finale but I’ll always take a character promo or a match moment over any super great match

Seth has one-upped Roman more often than we ever thought about. Outside of the aforementioned moments, his NXT run was better. A lot of his early accomplishments felt more organic. His push to the top was more widely accepted by the fans. Some of his Mania matches were better even though Roman's got higher billing. He has gone through multiple gimmick changes to refresh his character while it took Roman years to do the same. He was also one of the highlights of WWE throughout 2021, except it was without being a champion, which is kinda harder to do. And isn't it ironic that Roman called the WHC the "loser bracket title" while Seth-the one man Roman did not beat during entire title run-was holding it? I wanna see one more match between these two before theie careers are over.

I would love to Babyface Tribal Chief vs Heel Visionary at a WM or in the future. This time both of the 2 are a big draw and have a history. Makes for epic story and conclusion.

Roman Reigns (The Character) is traumatized by that chair shot by Seth Rollins, It left a scar on his psyche. It's so interesting how that scar shows up time and time again

In many ways, the story between Seth and Roman was much more interesting than Roman and Cody. And Seth is a much better character than Cody overall. Seth was made to look like a verbal champion who played mind games and didn’t let others outright insult him. I like Cody but he’s too damn nice and he often looks like a smiling politician idiot who doesn’t reply to insults during promos. He smiled while Roman called him an idiot two or three times before their WM 40 match and Cody never replied. Honestly, I was much more impressed with Seth’s WM work than Cody’s. Seth deserves a better world title reign when he returns and there’s still a lot more story to tell with him and Roman.

I def think the original idea to end Roman’s reign would have been Seth Rollins until Cody came to the dance

I have never once watched the Cody Rhodes pin at the end of WM40 and not focused squarely on Paul E's reaction. You want to know what saved WWE once it became a monopoly? Hiring that man, right there. He should never be in control of anything, but anyone who thinks that Heyman isn't the greatest wrestling mind of our generation is literally out of his own mind. Never a greater manager, never a greater promotion guy. Put his fingerprints on everything, but don't ever give him the wheel, and you'll have the greatest wrestling GenX/Millennials will ever flock to.

Roman and Seth have the kind of organic chemistry and backstory with each other that WWE tried to manufacture so many times between John Cena and Randy Orton, but it never quite felt like it was as big as it should've been and Cena v. Orton felt done to death by 2014 in every match type possible trying to find that right balance and "magic" while Rollins v. Reigns was spaced out better as an enduring rivalry that they could always circle back to when needed, but not overplayed so much that fans got tired of it. It might've just been fate intervening when Reigns got injured in September 2014 before he was supposed to face Rollins for the first time at Night of Champions, and likewise for Rollins getting injured before he was supposed to defend against Reigns at Survivor Series 2015, but it kept things fresh and made the dynamic feel special when they did cross paths and Seth always having Reigns number. Granted, it would've been nice if Reigns didn't beat Rollins on a couple random Raws, so they could say that Seth was the guy Roman never EVER beat, so it would be all the more satisfying when he finally does get that definitive win, but its still pretty fascinating that when it mattered most, through all the changes both men have gone through, they've kept that narrative alive that Rollins is always that thorn in Roman's side that he can't get rid of.

The Shield story is one of the greatest long running arcs I have seen in a while. Rollins ultimately wins because he was the one that planned to betray the Shield, he drew first blood. His mind games are what ultimately caused Reigns to slowly fall apart, even going so far as to dress like his old shield days just to see if it was his kryptonite. He also helped end Reign's title reign and the OG Bloodline. He is just always one step ahead of Reigns

Still believe either Seth or Sami should have dethroned Roman honestly.

Roman Reigns lost the title because of his hatred for Seth Rollins. The only way to get over it, truly, is to forgive him. Wherever it is, hard to know because of Seth's injury, it seems very likely that Roman wins that chapter. Personally? I think it's the face turn. The Rock comes out with the new bloodline and orders him to finish him, just like the Sami/KO story, and he refuses, because he's finally forgiven him. It also means a subsequent beat down.. but anyways, that's what I'd like to see.

Reigns has been the guy for years now. He's working part time now, there's no reason for him to beat Rollins

I will say that Seth should have Roman's number...until their last match. Roman retires Seth in a career vs career match and finally gets his win back-or if Roman's the one retiring, then Seth plays this story to its conclusion. I think they should play this out until one of them hangs it up. Every hero needs a villain and every dancing partner needs a second to tango. Batman/Joker really sums up what this dynamic has been. And The Batman turned heel on Superman at one point so Roman fits the batman persona well.
