Just do it and when he said that the 17 year old version of himself didn't think it was possible really gave me some hope. I'm 16 looking to do something like he is doing with fashion and furniture and hearing this gave me a boost 💯.

JUST DO IT! I been wanting to go for fashion and music my whole life. I just gotta do this shit. Nothing else fulfills me. Nothing in school excites me. Now navigating through jobs, they all suck lol. I feel like I’m so far away from what I’m supposed to be doing. But now I’m close to starting and now and it kills me when I’m not doing what I want and expressing myself. I just gotta do it.
This video is very inspiring. Virgil Abloh really inspired a whole generation of creatives. What really resonated with me is “Thrive of a no”. No one can tell you what you can or can’t achieve. If you want to do something, do it. Make it a reality. It’s easy to over think about how to start but just get started. I want to explore my creativity to the maximum and Virgil really gave me the courage to pursue all my dreams. Rest in peace to an absolute legend 🕊
Sad that he’s gone but I’m so grateful he was aware of his creative genius and wanted to share to the younger generation about how to get to where he go to. Every time I watch one of his lectures or a video like this, it makes me want to do something with my life.
I went to college in Rockford. This can't be overstated. People don't make it out of Rockford. And on top of that he was a first generation American. Absolute legend and hero.

I'm going to "Just DO It" always been a problem was starting always thought starting is some type of complicated process when in reality its not. Also to "Thrive Off of No!" Thats the second most important thing to me always let hater and naysayers get in the way of my thinking and goals and my whole mental attitude in general. I'm willing to do this step need to keep learning and growing.
