I have been looking for this episode forever ! Thank You for posting :) this is my favorite episode of the inspector

This is a CLASSIC and extremely funny parody of how obeying the law is more important than catching criminals in some countries ... but at the very end the English policeman buys into using guns.

My favorite Inspector cartoon.

Not sure why he even wanted to use his gun. His accuracy would make a Stormtrooper look like Bob Lee Swagger, and it's not like the bullets in this show have any stopping power anyway!

Today it is nothing like that in England. They have guns.

Have you notice the only time the English cop was there was only to stop the Inspector from shooting instead of catching the criminal.

Perhaps there should be a no-gun law to Canadian and American citizens. Even in the United Kingdom. Guns are only for police officers and millitary soldiers and not citizens.

Just as funny as I remember it! I like how the inspector gets shot at then nailed with the captain's umbrella half the time!

That would never work in the U.S. As an American I can tell you daily on average there are 5,000 times people use guns to defend their lives and property in America. You do not hear of this as the media focuses on negative gun tragedies. In the U.K. crime rates have skyrocketed as criminals know their victims are unarmed. Current gun laws let killers go free while citizens get life sentences. Consider Tony Martin in England. Leave your no-guns allowed ideals outside the United States Of America.
