Pastor...thank you sooooooo much for this! I was a young girl back in Tortola, British Virgin Islands where I was born and grew up, and heard my mother playing albums on that huge, furniture-like record player, by the choir at Institutional. I could never forget the sound of that organ being played by the Legendary Butch Heyward - NEVER! I could never forget the sound of that choir and how it awakened inside of me this crazy LOVE for choir music! I recognized even then, that Institutional created that Brooklyn sound of gospel music (at least as far as I'm concerned - not really speaking for anyone else!) - unforgettable, undeniable, just sooooo unique and special for me! I remember reading over and over the credits printed on the back of those LP holders, and marveling - Joyce Taylor, Gloria White, J. C. White - man! Memories!!!

the 1st song "your help is on the way" was soooooo anointed that night! u could feel the very presence of God while they were singing it...i wish they would not have stopped it...it would have been crazy holyghost mayhem in there lol
This was an awesome moment. They lifted that song up like they were singing it all along. Didn't skip a beat. So glad I didn't miss this. I would have hated for someone to tell me about it.
this is officially my favorite song now as well... I hope it was redone by the institutional radio choir and that they do another Greatest Hits CD... I have tried over and over to find a copy on CD and have had no success
Who is the brother leading the service? I love institutional! I remember when they came to Grand rapids Michigan to the Bethel Pentecostal Church, I'm thinking the late 70s , can't let a day go by without saying something for the Lord, was the album that was the latest at that time, Bishop White autographed it for me! We had a wonderful time in the Lord! Our choir was signed to savoy records also , I sang with the Bethel Pentecostal Choir, for many years, and a lot of Bethel Pentecostal Choir has been posted on you tube as well,thank God for technology and keeping this music alive and accessable
