I think Adam because the right brain is more emotional and not logical like your left so when you get carried away, your limbic system sorta disconnects from your logic and your working more with feelings visualization, intuition, imagination. The brain if it were completely integrated, the limbic system would be equal on both sides, but at this stage of human understanding, evolution its more right brained dominant. Hmm, we have not achieved Spock yet, pure logic and still integrate self control of our emotions. Meditation, Tai Chi, yoga this is all good to integrate the body mind, the left/right brain, but this takes work and time.
