hello kryzzp. please test out the rusty apartments (Blue Creek i think) in silent hill 2, they are twice as intensive as any other area in the game, even the apartments that you are testing, i have 7800 xt, normally running at around 80-100 fps, and in the rusty apartments im dipping into the 40s

It's called underpowered hardware. It's not even about how it looks, the lighting system in this game is much more complex and the GI is very intensive. Not to mention all the little details in the world. There's a lot of the behind the scenes stuff that eats resources but won't necessarily be immediately visible unless you know what to look for

Pairing this with a used video card wouldn't be bad actually. Too bad most of these boards are embedded and in mini pc applications and don't have a full pcie slot. The n300 is even better.
