Sheikh Imran Hossein, he is the type of persons that this World needs. He is courageous, intelligent and highly knowledgeable. And he is humble to boot. He simply attributes his strong analytic skills to the knowledge of the Quran. Many people know the Quran but cannot think as clearly as Sheikh Imran Hossein. Long live the Sheikh he is an amazing scholar and teacher!.

After all, it seems there are islamic people with very high culture, very reasonable and excelent sense of humor. I am not muslim, but I have great respect by this man. Although I am not a very religious man (I consider myself as more close to budism than anything else), I value the same way his concept of "ones word" and honnesty as a sacred thing... This man is great at breaking things down so that anyone can understand.Ive listened to every lecture I can find and fact checked everything he has said.Even though he has changed his position on some things and was even wrong on some he is humble enough to admit his errors and move on.If he ever comes to the United States to speak I will try to go see him even though I will probably be placed on some watchlist.I also plan to buy all his books to help support his work in escatology.

I respect The shiekh alot for being just about the only scholar to openly discuss the corruption of the world monetary systems. Enlightening Sheikh! It's only fair to recognise Ibn Khaldun the 14th century scholar who laid the foundation of Modern Economics through his masterpiece Al Muqaddimah. He also advocated for the use of Gold and Silver coins as the currency.

The many great sheikhs like Hamza Yusuf, or Zakir Naik cover a variety of topics. I'm fine with SIH focussing on one topic, though it'd be good if the info was tangible/specific. I've been listening for 2 years now. For his OWN benefit, I am suggesting it! More will subscribe to his views.

Religion is a standard of conduct based on belief in a god. Many Christians refer to religion as obeying the teachings of God to obtain salvation but the Christian religion is honouring God. If we honour God we wish to obey God. I find that obedience to God makes my life better. Obedience to a human who claims to represent God but is actually selfish or greedy with political motives rather than aiming to honour God as God while treating others righteously is where things go wrong.

While it is Haram, you can use it because of the Islamic principle of necessity. Fundamentally he is saying that we are only safe if we have gold, paper money can get wiped out anytime.
