I'm a huge sports fan and have watched sports with countless black and white people , and never once has anyone every even hinted at a male cheerleader being anything but a athlete . I'm sure there's a few dickheads out there as is the case with literally anything but most men, could care less if a man is a cheerleader . Literally care less. Men don't think less of other men for being in incredible shape and firing up crowds at sporting events .

This was super common for cheer and dance to be considered feminine. Men would totally get made fun of for it, even when I was in highschool(I'm 30). But I have to say, I notice its not that way anymore! Society is like 200% less judgy. We just want everyone to be happy and find what they are good at 🤗

Daughter Of YHWH Yes exactly! I was a flyer too and was thankfully never dropped. Also when I did the back spot, I always caught my flyer. We fell together sometimes but out of everyone the flyer is always supposed to be the safest because everyone is trained to catch and protect them.

Was a flyer and dropped more than once - one which resulted in an ER visit. Flyers are dropped all the time and seriously injured. That doesn’t look like an issue here but def happens a lot.
