Last year I painted my room this blue I was convinced was the perfect colour. The first night in my poorly lit blue room I cried and felt claustrophobic and like the walls were closing in. Everyone said not to waste my time repainting it but I did and feel so happy that I did. Your space ended up looking so special and stunning in the end
Love that the new wallpaper goes with the trim color, so you don’t have to repaint and because you are listening to the instinct that told you to use that color in the first place. Also-as one of the toilet jewelry commenters, please know that I have fished my glasses out of many toilets, including in airports. It happens. And lastly, my medicine cabinet door broke early in the pandemic, so my secrets have been exposed for years & it is truly why I never have guests.

Well, I'm pretty sure I just spent half the video with my bottom lip pouting out because I felt so darn sad that you're hurting. On a brighter note, I love how you redid the bathroom, it really does look so much more inviting, it's got a warm cozy feel now. You really do have amazing taste in decorating! 🥰
This was truly unhinged in such a relatable way. The end-result is freakin amazing (although I did like the first version too. I might have tried leaning into the grey-green by doing dark green trims and lighter green walls above the wallpaper. You new version is a definite win, though). Sorry about the bad news. I hope you have all the people you want in your life to help you recover!
The red/pink wallpaper is definitely more you than the green which looked more grey! I still think that the lighting you use in the bathroom would make a WORLD of difference for the colors and how they pop. Those shelves are just asking for plants too! Overall very well put together for such a small space.
I absolutely love version two! So vibrant and warm. The wall paper feels really french and I was wondering how it would look with the original tiles which are also looking (southern) french. The transition to the shower would be more gentle too.. just an idea! While watching version 1 and 2, I realised that I do love version 2 but I would probably feel overwhelmed by it’s rich and intense colours on the long run. A bit like you did with the cooler tones, so I will keep that in mind while renovating my new home in a couple of months. Thanks for you mistake 🙏🏻😅 I wish you a happy use of your bathroom!
On the one hand I'm bummed that I can never wallpaper my bathroom or make it real cute, but I am glad that Finnish bathrooms are tiled from floor to ceiling. I can clean the whole thing with conditioner in my hair and hose it down, toilet included. Very functional albeit a little boring.
Dear heart. First of all, I love (LOVE) the makeover and the new colours! A few days ago I declared that pink, magentas, reds, various yellows, with white and a touch of gold is my new fave colour combo. I started planning a series of poured art paintings around that combo. Then here you come with your crazy marvelous new bathroom using that same combo! Great minds, my girl. Great minds. Thank you! Also, I am terribly sorry about your crushing news. Whatever it is, I hope for the best for you. Take all the days you need to "recover". also, keep in mind that the very best "acting" is always truthfully reacting. I know you learned this in acting classes (everyone does...at least they do if they have a good coach/teacher). Your honesty is what keeps us coming back week after week. I live for Sundays and seeing you. ANYway, the bathroom is great, fall apart when necessary, find your joy again when you are able, and on to the next adventure.

I just sit there, dead-eyed, watching you talk to yourself alone in your bathroom and also pause, dead-eyed and mentally high five you. Where does one buy bathmats that don't suck and are big enough? My bathroom is one of those big, humorless, modern cubes with so much floor space that I feel I need to buy 4 regular bathmats and stitch them together so I don't feel like I'm walking in a mausoleum after I shower. Dumb question - but I'm too nervous about the amount of steam I make in the shower to put up wallpaper. Won't it peel? Ok - if there's anyway you (or maybe someone that reads these that is bored and has any knowledge) could shed light on these mysteries (fine the wallpaper one is google-able but I don't trust it) that would be amazing. Otherwise, simply know I think you're awesome and I bought your sister's book for my brother-in-law, who is Shakespeare obsessed and worked at the Royal Shakespeare Co. for awhile (Brit). Also, if you ever still listened to cds, I'd be happy to send you mine as a thank you, but I dont' think anyone listens to them anymore and it's weird to be like, 'Oh listen to me on Spotify -thank you!' but simply I wish I could send you something for the light you're bringing to the world. This video made me realize I need to really lean into accessorizing my bathroom, and making those little weirdo spaces into tiny little arty displays. Love the makeover! Love the milkmaids dj-ing in Vermeer style, It's perfect, he;s known for his use of light, but instead of a window light it's now computer light. It's just briliant (one of the milkmaids in your other video really showed this very clearly)
The wallpaper and yellow wall is the same scheme as my couch! The same pattern on one pillow and then a golden ish pillow to pair it with. It was kind of fun to see it used differently in another space

I love your color palette! I think before the gray/green wall paper and the red trim were competing too much, and particularly making the color of the shower tile stand out badly. This is much more cohesive! I also have a tiny rental bathroom with a wall mounted sink and no storage so I actually sewed a little sink skirt that goes on the sink with velcro, and now I can store a larger stuff under the sink on a simple wire stand without it being an eyesore, like cleaning supplies, hair tools. You can just rip it off and toss it in the wash if you spill on it. I used plain fabric leftover from some curtains I shortened but if you wanted to add even more color/pattern, a ticking stripe could be very cute without competing with the wallpaper!

I use my Instapot. I can throw hurger or chicken in.. Add veggies seasoning, balsamic vinegar. Some chicken or beef broth, and you have a meal or soup that you can freeze or have right now. No mess. Clean up is easy. That is important to me
