I feel Animal is ameeron ki Gangs of Wasseypur with Ranbir being Sardar Khan, Rashmika being Richa Chaddha, Tripti Dimri being Bangalan, Lord Bobby being Ramadhir Singh... I think the lack of Tiger 3 promotions was a deliberate choice that failed unfortunately. They probably thought since SRK didn't do too much promotion for Jawaan and it still worked, so they might as well try that.

It was 3am and still had another hour to go, mentally i was giving up on this dreaded 1hr long part of the movie where there was literally no movement in the plot except that Ranbir was waiting for a heart transplant. And the ONLY thing that kept me going on to finish the movie was that I told myself i have to finish this movie to watch TISS

The most mindfuck moment in 'Animal' for me was when he ordered a fuckin' Rolls Royce in the color of Tripti's lovebite...I was creeped out, mindblown, flabbergasted and slightly concerned about the mind from which that idea originated, but still it was worth the 300rs for the action and cool factor, but misogny could have been toned down by about 200% and runtime by about 45-50 minutes easily, without impacting anything worth watching in the film.

Nikhat Kazmi was not JUST a critic of the 90s. She wrote editorials and did movie reviews for OVER TWO DECADES for the times of India. Publishing her last review in Dec of 2011, shortly before passing away after losing a bitter battle with cancer. She was renowned for the reviews she wrote. She was unbiased and truly had a way with words. And I guess more importantly in the context of “Now“ Her reviews couldn’t be bought (and yes, many tried).

I chose to watch Sam Bahadur instead of Animal and I’m very happy about it. I’m not in the least curious about animal, because I now know what it’ll be like from my Kabir Singh experience. That said, based on Varun’s review sounds like it’s worse than I imagined. My 1000 bucks will only encourage Mr Vanga to make films like this. No, thanks 🙏

Abrar haq and jija of Rannvijay are real toxic masculine but critics are telling only Ranbir character is toxic masculine. Director clearly established Rannvijay is not a hero..Abrar is also not a hero. It is a conflict between two similar characters with some variations.

The whole buzz around this movie pretty much lines up with the rise of the 'Alpha Male' narrative trending on the internet these days. Tate brothers blowing up is a good example. The character played by RK gets idolized by a few for the wrong reasons. Misogyny is not an alpha trait!!

Unpopular opinion: Animal is a far superior movie thn Pathaan/ Jawan…same ppl will go GaGa if it was an English movie or series…like Game of thrones…John Wick…Joker…infact same ppl will call Gangs of Wasseypur is a cult movie which again has lot of problematic themes… I think Indian audience is mature enough…no one gts influenced just by watching a movie unless all these tendencies are already there in their personalities… Same ppl thgt tht after watching Jawan..Bharat ki janta is now influenced by SRK’s speech thyll vote out BJP…🙈🙈😅 It’s is very simple u don’t like the movie just don’t watch it.

The way BAWA is behind 10000 Naira reminds me of the story of Dronacharya and Drupad. Dronacharya after defeating Drupad and getting half of his kingdom took away one cow from Drupad. However, this led to death of Dronacharya

I went to animal 10.30 pm show in pvr. Big mistake, interval was at 1 am, finally left the movie at 2.15 am, there was still some movie left. I didn't watch the final fight post credit etc

Movie is damn good ! Watched it twice😅 full on entertaining! Every Bollywood movie is illogical and this movie too was illogical but with good acting and BGM , had a massy appeal !
