Found you via Less-Than-Sarah. Love your videos! I am having my VSG on January 2nd 2014. I am nervous and going crazy lol. Thank you for your videos...even if you think you don't have much info to contribute that may be 'new' your journey is unique and I plan on following you!

Just found you and look forward to watching your journey. I am so sorry you don't have much support close by. Take care of yourself and shake off any judgment's that people make against you...they do not live your life! There is so much support here that will hopefully carry you through. I am a "want to be sleever" for three years now and have learned so much from my you tube friends during this time. None of my friends/family gets "it" either. That's ok! When I am financially able to have the surgery...I will do it for me! I will be a well informed patient! God Bless!!

Welcome! I'm a newbie too! My surgery date is also scheduled close to yours so maybe we will be sleeve sisters! I can completely relate to your family's non-supportive issues. My dad thinks I can lose my 300 extra pounds on my own. Just know that you are doing what is best for you! We are all here for you! Hi! I am so happy for you. I began my journey on 12/18/12. On that day my weight was 213. Current weight is 130. I am 5 1". This has been an amazing journey, and I am so glad I made the decision. Sorry to hear your fiss

We are really close in our dates. I just had my last doc visit in Thursday. Hope to have my date by the end of the month! I'm sorry that your parents are having a hard time with your choice. I've had a few close friends that had the same reaction. It's hurtful :( You have this awesome community! Good luck with telling your sisters. Hope it goes better than you're thinking.
