The moment I encountered this guy in Rise was probably my favourite the entire game provided me with. Just "Yeah, I remember you, time to wear your skin!" then the choir came out like I was in a Godzilla movie.

They had Bazelguise and Valstrax in the same game and yet NO TURF WAR BETWEEN THEM! YOU HAD ONE JOB CAPCOM! ONE JOB!

Nothing will ever top Seething Bezel’s desperation attack and the fucking screech at the end of it.

Loved the theme from the first time i faced Bazelgeuse, my first encounter was when i tried a Rathian just at the beginning of HR, didn't heard its growling before bombs would fall on me and then.... BOOM i was like WTF!? Anyway one of the best 5th gen monster, easly top 5

I prefer world to rise, both themes and gameplay. I liked the feel of worlds bagel because of the larger map and less capability of tracking bagel compared to the constant tracking rise has, he just isn’t a surprise anymore. On another note getting invaded isn’t a bad thing in rise it’s a good one thanks to wire bug riding when he invades he basically just gives free dps, making him a pleasant non surprise. Theme wise I just prefer the big entrance in world more it feels more abrupt compared to the long choral start of rise. Anyways great job on an amazing medley.

Reality can often be disappointing......but I for one want them to appear in our world to wreak havoc and calamity. That...truly will put a smile on my face.

I would love like a 1 or more hour extended version of this for D&D boss fights.

I liked World's version better than Rise's, with the exception of one detail. The vocals. Holy shit those vocals. World's felt more powerful in every way, but the vocals from Rise add an extra layer of impending doom. I very distinctly remember encountering Bazel for the first time in Rise. This was the first time I would fight him in a mainline game, and I didn't know he was included until I ran up to that question mark on the map and there he was. And I actually shouted out loud, "IT'S BAZEL!!!" and went for him. And then that choir hit my ears and I felt the adrenaline start surging. Though I only messed with him a little bit just to see how he worked before moving on to my actual target. I remember thinking "one day I'm going to fight you for real." Kinda wish he didn't show up on the map until ambushing you, though, which is how he originally worked from what I understand? That would have been fantastic, just fighting some other monster and then hearing that ascending roar and bombs just start raining from the sky. I do love grabbing him for Wyvern Rides though.

As if the regular Bazelgeuse themes weren't already fierce powerful enough lol

Whenever I first saw his icon I assumed he was some kind of elder dragon. Fair assumption imo.
