In last week's sermon, Pastor Neil Downey taught on the passage from Mark 3:20-35. He explored how following Jesus often means being misunderstood. Jesus faced misunderstandings from his family, religious leaders, and even his disciples. These misunderstandings highlight common assumptions about priorities, power, and purpose. Jesus responded by redefining family, authority, and the kingdom of God. As followers of Jesus, we are invited to respond to misunderstandings by reflecting Jesus' love in every situation. We pray that this invitation to being misunderstood allows you to follow Jesus faithfully in your walk with him.
