Exactly, nothing goes on just dudes standing on the corner drinking or shooting dice. But I find it interesting how hood culture is being spread or gloryfiend. I hope people just see this just as entrainment
At least 26 people have died in feuds between rival gangs in the last five years, but the violence dramatically escalated on Sunday when Keane Mulready-Woods was beheaded and dismembered in a videotaped killing in the town of Drogheda. wtf
Actually have some respect for that ink guy for actually being himself. It’s beyond cringe to see people put on a London accent just because they wanna be like someone else.
@Cicada 3301 And americans used to use jamaican accents, even highly respected cats like krs-one, who gives a shit let people speak however they want to speak, I would never change my accent but that's just me, let people be them
@@trevorlefiles8633 Yeah you are right, watching this shit is definitely not funny, well maybe a little,so whats your problem mate? are you in IRA or maybe you are member of Orange Order ? Or maybe you wish you were black and be rapper ha ? funny boy dont cry
@@nolimitjack4865 Why are you telling me this ? have you guys heard of someting about such thing as humor on the internet ? I am not even Irish and i dont live in Ireland but for sure i know that Northern Ireland is a part of the Republic of Ireland and they must be united soon or later.
@john Smith Very true that. Drillers aren't real though and they're not supposed to be considered real. They're merely telling stories about what is going on around them, and they're certainly not causing the Gardai any issues. It's no different than John Denver singing about Mountain tops. If you ask locals about Denver, he was playing to a market. I think he owned a second house in the Rockies and was hardly there, yet you'd think the lad lived in a log cabin surrounded by pines and bears. Admittedly though, the issue with this type of music is that you get impressionable 10 year olds who actually think that getting into a gang is a life worth seeking. The realities couldn't be further from such an illusion. But you are quite correct; Gangland Ireland hasn't stopped since the Dunne's upped the ante and it's causing a lot of social problems in Ireland.
john Smith ye but Ireland’s gangland is more organized than the London scene the likes of Robbie lawlor are professionals we don’t get school boys being stabbed in shops and shoutouts are rare and targeted
@John Smith who said anything about gun murders? Talking about murders in general. Check the CSO and Wikipedia statistics. London has less than double the population of Ireland but had more than double the murders of Ireland last year. 149 to Ireland's 72. Even then western europe is the 2nd safest region in the world after Scandinavia.
Ink is the only one whos proud to be irish the rest of the "irish drill rappers" are little london wannabes puttin on english accents ireland is full of people who are tryin to be somethin there not,#taketheratsoutireland
@Graham Carroll you really called someone racist over that? Lmao 😂. The dude is mixed Irish, obviously. If me stating that fact is racist, then so be it. I'm from the U.S. but my bloodline is African. There is ethnicity, race, and nationality. No one is saying he isn't Irish at all.
Basically they just wearing them as some pointless trending style. Just like all the preppy kids saying "bang bang," an or in the U.S. everyone saying some "gang gang" bs. Nobody really even knows wth they are doing or saying, they just think it's something cool that they all should be doing lol.
big dawg lmao imagining being proud of your country's murder rate... Well there's another reason for folk not to visit Mexico if Mexicans have the same mindset as you!
ThvtSyDneYlyf3th0 this is everywhere bro. In the States ppl come from places like fucking Nebraska or Ohio to New York and use our lingo and accent lol.
Joseph McAuley Virtually anything is better than the bullshit in this video. I’d say something if there was actually good Irish drill but there really isnt.
They can do what they want.. so shut up I’d love to see any of ye who commented do anything better with yer lives then what these fellas are doing, ye all probably work at a till or on the dole so yeah ye have some place to talk👍🏼
@@thawhiteflip when the presenter asks him if Irish violence is at the same level as London violence.... They're like, not yet but its gonna get there, like it was a great fkn thing to aspire to.. Fkn muppets givin their colour a bad name
@@niallobrien628 To me, it seemed like he said it because Ireland and the UK (and Europe in general) are very unstable right now and the general trend in society right now, especially in urban areas, is things are gonna get much worse wherever you go. I can see it for where I'm at in California too. Things are definitely going to become more violent in my lifetime. I'm not bragging and I'm not excited for it.
African people have natural baritone voices that makes them naturally sound like grime rappers. Most black people can't sound like INK even if they try.
I started rapping along to my favorite artists when I was like 13. I started writing limericks and other stanzas around then. I start rapping when I was 19. I started to record music in my mid 20's. I put together my first body of work in my 30's. Producing, engineering, writing. Also going to school for digital audio engineering. Learning to juggle the 1's and 2's. Learning everything behind music. To represent me, as a female. So that no one could control, my music, my art, my message, or tell me what to say or to wear. Or how to spit. Because when you dont know, you've now left that in the hands of other people to handle. And now you become handled. I'm 44 now, and I'm still making music. One has to start somewhere.. even though you might take awhile to record. It might take you, a minute to get everything together. It might take you lots of different trails, to stay the course. Nobody is going to be prepared for what will be released, when it all comes together. All good things comes to those who wait. The more you cultivate your craft, and learn every aspect of it. Let everyone else jump in, tread water, burn out. Those who have love for what they do, will never stop, but flourish and inspire others. Everything has a beginning and end. Everything has to start some where. Time is irrelevant when you have love and passion.
I'm from Ireland but not from the areas in this video. But I can tell you the gangs up there are pretty serious. They're all battling for control of the Dublin drug trade and they don't just use guns on each other, they use bombs bought directly from the IRA
FG94 the accents and the fake facade they’re putting up. Lmao he said “this is real life bro” and it planned to a bunch of youngins riding around on bikes and older fools standing around a wall. These people aren’t hard at all
I love how people are flexing how dangerous their country or city is. Like damn that's really not something to be proud of. Everybody can rap no matter the accent or how dangerous their city is.
Bruh, I’m from South America and no niggas over here be wearing tracksuits nor glorifying violence, people who are actually involved, people that have grown up in the streets wouldn’t be talking so much crap about it…..
@Harry Harry Nah bro, chill... stop acting like you know whats good.. people like the hutch's, Whelans and kinahans are not IRA & have nothing to do with the IRA. They are currently running dublin, the place is a warzone everybody is beefing everybody (they are not together) it's just families that grew from being ruthless, I repeat again they are not IRA.. The new IRA is a joke. (edit) most old timer ira members are dead or too fucking old to be gangster, go to falls road in belfast and you'll see half of em sat in pubs looking like nittys. In fact some IRA members have been murdered by members of the irish mobs.
The kids ain't hard they can't show there face for that reason, and I'm from here this is making me ashamed, The Ra is probably laughing at these, there is 10 year olds trying to wheelie there pedal bikes 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Whats the point to have face covered by ski mask, when your tattoo is coming from your forehead to your eye and another is near your eye? So you are basically identified with or without that, smh.
@@lowdieee yea UK drill is bad too. They all sound the same and have the same flow. Also they're gun laws are super strict so none of them have guns and just talk about poking each other lol
Seeing where hip hop and drill have gone is really cool. Being from the states I didn't really know about how rough it was to break into Drill in the Uk and other places not having a London accent. People need to learn having different people and styles from everywhere only makes the music better.
This is not always true , you could make strong arguments for certain music "working better" with certain voices and/or accents. For example, any of Bob Marley's songs take on a different feel if delivered with a Russian or Indian accent ... though in the end individual "enjoyment of music" is subjective, entire thesis' can be written around this subject.
So basically the UK saw the Chicago scene from 2010-2013 and just wanted to copy lol No new flows Same shit Boring Only thing different is the accent and frankly it doesn’t even sound good for the most part like why tf is this catching on
Yo you don't really need a gun to kill someone... Expecially in places were guns are mostly sold in the black market... I'm speaking from Italy so I may know something
Chill ? Dublin has been in a war the last few years especially the north side . No knife crime really just shootings . Think were in the top 3 countries for gang related murders
@@IRELAND_SAYS_NO Lol bro there is no fucking way Ireland is in the top 3 countries for gang related murder, I can't find that anywhere online. Think about the US and African and Latin American countries too Dublin is baby food
You guys are clowns..... Tati I to eating crumpets and drinking tea, u guys look like str8 duck riders trynna act hard and us Americans are jus laughing at you lmaoooo
Because it's a sad cry for an identity and we can smell it all the way across the pond. Stop copying and start creating FFS, that's how you get respect. This trash is nowhere near American Drill... The list of Chicago Drill rappers that have been killed is giant, they almost all been shot, that's the difference. Drill rap emerged out of Chicago because of the culture that was brewing in those streets, OG's locked up and a bunch of youth running around terrorizing the streets, it exploded because it was so real and exposed a side of the country that people weren't aware of.. You wanna see the difference? Ireland murder rate = 0.9 Chicago murder rate = 23.9 and think about the dfiference in population, that'll give you a better understanding. Morder people are shot in a weekend in Chicago than all year in Ireland. BIG FUCKING DIFFERENCE. Do you understand the term DRILL now?
Grapo yea man the only reason there’s a higher murder rate is because guns are everywhere, in the UK they have guns but 25 years for possession if they get caught, a lot of people get stabbed but not a lot die surprisingly, its the same in London streets the young guys are running round shooting and stabbing everyone
Grapo I can admit chiraq started drill but uk and Ireland and Australia have turned it into their own style. Now it sounds nothing like Chicago drill. The slang, beats, visuals it’s so much different. And a lot of Chicago drill sounds trash compared to uk drill
