It is a little bit worrying that (especially american) people on the internet say they learn so much about history from Sabaton... I mean I'm from Finland which is usually at the top of the list when Googling best school systems but I don't think our history classes are even that intense... where are you from btw?

MyFaceIsMahShield I'm from America, and I'm fascinated that we ignore so much of European History during school. But I also understand why, our education system is a mess and we barely have enough time to teach the history of our country during a school year. Add to that the fact that our textbooks almost always start at the colonization of North America and you can see how the average student would have no idea about anything that occurred prior to the mid-1600s.

Shit I'm student of military history and have been studying it for fun for 20 years and I still don't know more then half the stuff sabaton songs about. That should tell you how much history gets buried

Perturabo The Iron Warriors and Iron Hands are my favorites. Both grim and pragmatic. Don't hate the Hands, hate the Fists, like everyone else does.

Actually Iron Hands are better than Iron Warriors. They are stronger, more technological and more loyal. Horus recognized it and tried to get Ferrus Manus on his side, while leaving weakling Perturabo to the Imperium. Also Iron Warriors as a Legion failed to destroy Iron Hands as a Chapter during the 10th Black Crusade despite it was its and their only goal, read about it.

Horus didn't personally try, but that doesn't mean he didn't try at all. It was just more effective to use Fulgrim. And still, Horus viewed Iron Hands as one of the strongest Legions, while IW were just cannonballs for him. Yes, he is dead because he was the first to face Chaos and was unprepared. Also he was weak and illogical and IH recognize that and it's the motivation for them to become stronger and stronger. And to use bionic even more. And it makes them stronger, no matter what Ferrus Manus said. In the 10th Black Crusade a Legion under command of Abbadon himself started a massive Daemonic-Astartes zerg rush that was enough massive to be classified as a Black Crusade like that that recently managed to create the Great Rift with only purpose to destroy Medusa/Iron Hands. And they failed. And if they damaged themselves without any rational explanation that's their weakness, and IH don't have it. And still even fighting each other they should be able to destroy one little Chapter and a population of a cold desert death world. But they didn't. The only result was that IH proved that they are stronger that IW and Abbadon traditionally muttered that "he have learned".
