The IRS Certified Acceptance Agent Program (CAA Program) 

During this online lecture, we will cover the CAA program, which stands for certified acceptance agent program. An acceptance agent is an individual or entity (such as a business or organization) who has a written agreement with the IRS to help individuals and other foreign persons obtain a Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). This is necessary for processing a Form 1040 and other tax schedules. The acceptance agent's role is to assist with the application process by reviewing required documents and submitting completed Forms W-7 to the IRS.
