How cool !! I bet you had a great time. I imagine Tangier was even more of a quaint place to visit before technology and increased visitation put it on the map.

If its an emergency the MD helicopter unless something happened that the helicopter will fly you off the island. As someone who lived there from 05-09 I was on the fire dept in high school

Thanks ! Yes, Parks is a marina and is the only marina on the island. It is also a man since it is named after Mr. Parks who opened the marina 40 years ago and is still running it at age 90!

By the way - how was your trip ?

All boat trips are great. I think I last told you of engine problems in Destin mid November. Boat repaired and left January 1. Across panhandle to Carrabelle and night crossing of Gulf to Tarpon Springs. Down to Fort Myers and across Okeechobee. Ended Stuart mid January. Tough being home. Installed chartplotter in car, ATONs along driveway, pump toilet in bathroom, and I consult Windy app before I blow leaves.
