Control button to slide down trees quickly, helps manage stamina. To get on a branch, climb into branch you want to be on rather than climb above and jump onto it.
Herrera is a lot of fun but definitely feels unfinished. The jump attack is finnicky, and the baby is near-useless in how slow and frail it is. As an adult you're decent, but it's complete luck if you ever actually get to that point because the babies are so slow and weak.

@@Vegan2387 Troodon babies are like, actually fast and capable of traveling extremely easily, even if they aren't really a threat to anything. Their trot speed alone is already pretty fast, when running it can even be hard to control them because they move so fast, and its walk is pretty quick too, so you really won't even run out of stamina with it because travelling by walking is still perfectly viable for baby Troo. Plus, they only need to eat once to make it to adulthood and then they're still good for a bit. Meanwhile, Herrera just barely makes it to adulthood after filling its stomach twice.

Why don't they make all the dinosaurs dive under water? Makes no sense Herra can but Cerato can't, while Cera literally has scutes that'd be unused swimming on the surface.
I got attacked by dilos so I ran up a tree, but I was bleeding out so I tried to run to a tree with branches but got caught, just reached adolescent too
Herrera kind of has a op pounce. I was twice the size as of the one that pounced on my dillo and it instantly killed me. A bit unrealistic so I’m sure it’ll get a nerf.
So that guy in chat said “we don’t throw up from eating non-diet food” what exactly is the deal with that? I remember in spiro it seemed like I’d get sick constantly from eating different player corpses, even when they weren’t rotted. But now as a dilo and previously me playing as raptor I split open every player carcass and eat the organs and still get the nutrients (which is how it should be) the only thing I haven’t tried as a Dilo is cannibalizing organs - cause I remember trying that pre-update as a raptor and immediately getting sick.

redownloaded for the new content. thinking about uninstalling again. cant grow cause no food, you do grow a little an a herrera mistakes you for a dilo and kills you, dilo destroys the herrera. no stam, the map needs to be optimized even with a good pc my cpu is cooking from the demand, it doesn't overheat on ANY other game or the other map. game went from well balanced to everyone is a cannibal because there's no fucking food.
Do you automatically attack after you fall a considerable amount, or do you have to keep holding right mouse to use it? Played yesterday and it was amazing but I dont think I ever hit a pounce 🫤 Edit: nvm lol 2:52
